Honestly there is so much to do it’s a bit insane.
Interestingly they timegated some world quests too to make content last longer.
Honestly I am loving it but I’m a little worried I won’t unlock Reputation before the time reset. The number of quests you need to do are quite high!
Well I’ll try and blitz through my remaining ones then explore a bit to get some world percentage.

So just after this goes live the artist that drew my heroine for me will be opening a commission slot again.
Hopefully I can grab it.
My plan is to commission Eleanor (the heroine) in a ball room gown as I mentioned before.
I’ve already written out the notes I need and looked at some example accessories just to get the vibe right.
Well I’ll leave most of it to the artist, both because they’re female and know what female style is like…
but also because I have no eye for balance when it comes to fashion aesthetic.

Wow it’s 4am already here.
I feel like I’ve done nothing all day. It’s so weird.
So let’s break things down!
It hit 30 degrees here today, that’s a whole 50% over my comfort level. Safe to say it was hot.
I did some rudimentary design work on the concept of my fantasy submarine, mostly on aesthetic rather than function now, wanted to get the looks right.
I hit 20,000 points on my realm in Genshin, courtesy of two furniture sets I finished.
Uhm there were some other things too but I’m too tired to say.
Everyone is asleep on discord too so I have nobody to poke.

I fully caught up with the Spirit Chronicles light novel.
I read the web novel back in the day and I dropped it during the infamous “letter incident”.
As you may be aware the “letter incident” was a terrible and stupid arc in the web novel.
The light novel, having realised this, scrapped it entirely for an alternate version of events.
And it works sooooooo much better.
I’m so glad honestly.
This is what makes writing great, and why drafts are so important.

Instead I’m going to follow up on my previous ramble about worldbuilding and art.
I finally settled on what piece of art I will commission next.

But I’m thinking of going with Eleanor (the heroine) in a ball gown type formal dress.
We’ve brainstormed ideas and I have a pretty solid vision of her style, so I think it will turn out well.

Do you ever just do research for a novel you’re working on and just… get lost in the aether?
First I wanted to use alchemy symbols for the magic but realised alchemy went out of fashion before a lot of the scientific concepts my magic uses were invented, so I’d have to invent old style alchemy symbols to fill the gaps in scientific development! I’d literally be reinventing the periodic table!
Then I was looking at submarine concepts on how the design of the magical submarine would work and ended up on some scifi royal navy concept vessel that used zero point energy.
Crazy!
I need to stop worldbuilding and eventually write one day.

I just finished watching Episode 2 of Spirit Chronicles.
This episode was slow because it had to cover the downtime and character development part of the first novel.
It had a massive timeskip too because the novel covers a long period.
From now on the pacing will start to even itself out, so it should be good.
