“Geez, can you get any more meaty…” Lin Feng thought to himself, squeezing his fist to alleviate the weariness in his palms. He took a few steps back out of sheer frustration and awe.

Despite its grotesquely ugly appearance, the pig’s combat prowess was surprisingly formidable. Its combat power was not only exceptional but seemed to be increasing exponentially. Every time it sustained an injury, the pig would hurry over to a zombie corpse, munch on it, and astonishingly, its wounds would begin to heal at a rate that defied imagination.

Moreover, after Lin Feng’s initial gunshot had failed to hit a critical spot, it seemed as though the zombie pig had learned and adapted. Whenever Lin Feng raised his handgun, the pig would smartly use one hand to cover its head, while the other hand would sweep its massive body. The pig’s small head, buried under layers of fat, became a difficult target to hit. This was particularly challenging for Lin Feng, a handgun novice who had never engaged in any kind of firearms training before.

“Lily, you need to come up with something quickly!” yelled Anna, her small axe proving to be ineffective against the zombie pig’s robust meat armor. Her strikes on the fatty body of the pig could only leave scars on its belly that healed over time. Black blood would ooze from the wounds, only to heal completely after a short while.

“A plan! A plan –I have to think of something, quick!” Lin Feng desperately scanned the area. They were surrounded by office furniture, offering no suitable weapons. His situation was grim; he was down to his last three bullets after having expended the other ten in futile attempts.

“There’s no way out,” he thought, glancing toward the elevator. However, the path to the elevator was obstructed by the enormous body of the zombie pig.

But then, an idea sparked in his mind.

The zombie pig’s skills seemed to be limited to charging, swinging wildly, and consuming corpses. Lin Feng realized he could exploit these behaviors. Wasn’t there a glass door they couldn’t open? (Chapter 140) That’s their solution – right here!

Naturally, he had attempted to bait the pig into charging through one of the many glass windows and off the edge, however, the creature was more agile than Lin Feng had anticipated. Each time it approached the edge, it would brake at the right moment as if it had an innate understanding of the boundary. The pig must have worked in this office before becoming a zombie, making it familiar with the office layout. This knowledge was what had allowed Lin Feng and Anna to hold off the creature for so long.

On several occasions, Anna lured the zombie pig while Lin Feng targeted its head with his handgun. However, due to the pig’s bent posture, only a small portion of its skull was exposed; that was how he wasted his first ten bullets. Although he managed to breach the skull and graze the brain a few times, the pig seemed fearless, quickly returning to the corpses for healing.

This situation left Lin Feng, who had only his enhanced agility to speak of, with no opportunity to land a killing blow.

“Anna, I’ll distract it. Don’t attack just yet,” Lin Feng instructed.

“Alright,” Anna agreed, pausing her assault.

Fortunately, the zombie pig was relatively dim-witted, always attacking the person who had attacked it first. If only Song Zhe was here right now, his enhanced strength would have massively helped him. With Song Zhe’s power, a strong push when the pig reached the edge might have sufficed. Alas, Lin Feng’s abilities did not support such tactics.

Lin Feng led the zombie pig towards the edge where the tempered glass was. He was uncertain if the beast would stop before the glass, but they had no other options. If their plan failed, they would have to resort to a hasty escape through the elevator, hoping the creature wouldn’t manage to pry open the metal doors.

The pig snorted, its small black eyes fixated on Lin Feng. After a brief pause, it charged towards him with full force.
