With a resounding bang and a shattering crash, the immense bulk of the zombie pig slammed against the glass. Unfazed, it quickly got back on its feet and, with relentless determination, charged at Lin Feng once more. The glass gave way under the immense impact, and the zombie pig barreled through, heading straight for the helipad.

Once it burst onto the helipad, the pig seemed disoriented, abandoning its typical strategy of charging. Instead, it resorted to frantic, disorganized scratching and clawing, as if lost in its newfound environment.

Lin Feng, bow and arrow in hand, remained focused and composed. He aimed meticulously and fired arrow after arrow, each one striking true towards the pig’s head, only to be thwarted once more.

“Damn, why are there corpses here as well?” Lin Feng muttered under his breath, his frustration mounting as he watched the pig gnaw on an arm while simultaneously launching attacks at him. The creature was proving to be a formidable adversary – tough to damage and seemingly impossible to kill. Was retreat the only viable option? However, a small tent, hidden and unnoticeable from within, caught Lin Feng’s eye atop the helipad. He felt a compelling urge to investigate.

Activating his slow-motion ability, Lin Feng took a moment to closely observe the pig, noticing something peculiar. It appeared to have grown larger. Since Anna’s height couldn’t have changed so rapidly, it was evident that the pig’s body was enlarging. Its reactions were becoming slower, yet its flesh armor seemed to thicken even more.

“I’ve got an idea, Anna! Keep attacking it,” Lin Feng shouted, his voice slicing through the tension.

“Okay,” Anna responded immediately, trusting Lin Feng’s judgment. Without hesitation, she renewed her assault on the zombie pig with renewed vigor.

Half an hour of intense, grueling combat later, the zombie pig finally fell to the ground, its life extinguished amidst groans and grunts of defeat.

Lin Feng shook his arm, trying to alleviate the soreness from continuous bow shooting. He then sat down heavily on the ground, fatigue etching his face. Anna, equally spent, dragged her axe over and sat down beside him. They leaned against each other, their heavy breathing intermingling in the aftermath of the battle.

Together, they had drained the life out of the zombie pig. With the corpses on the helipad limited, Anna adeptly lured the pig, while Lin Feng strategically disposed of the bodies, throwing them off the building. When the pig suffered another potentially fatal injury, it found no corpses left to feed on for recovery. Frustrated and enraged, the pig attempted to return to its previous office but discovered its enlarged body could no longer fit through the door frame. Lin Feng seized the opportunity, firing two precise headshots at the weakened pig, terminating its monstrous existence.

Lin Feng had previously tried to gain the upper hand by climbing atop the pig, but despite its bulk, the pig was surprisingly agile and covered in a viscous, unknown substance. Ultimately, their only option had been to exhaust it to death.

“Are you okay?” Lin Feng asked, turning to Anna, his hand brushing against her damp, blood-streaked blonde hair, both of them still catching their breath.

“You should be asking yourself that, Lily. Don’t underestimate my strength!” Anna, despite her evident exhaustion, raised her arm in a show of defiance and called out. She then turned her head to see Lin Feng’s face so close to hers, and her cheeks flushed with a hint of red.

“Your face is all red, yet you’re still putting on a brave front,” Lin Feng teased with a laugh.

He stood up, stretching his limbs. It had been a long time since he had engaged in such prolonged physical exertion. Stretching brought a sense of relief, but his body was dominated by fatigue.

Dragging his tired body, Lin Feng moved towards the small tent, intrigued by what it might contain. They had spent several hours here just to gather information about the helicopter, and now, that small tent seemed to be their only lead.

Slowly unzipping the tent, Lin Feng peered inside.

A trembling behind came into his field of vision.

Huh???

In disbelief, Lin Feng reached out towards the quivering rear end.

“Ah! Don’t eat me~ Please don’t eat me, I taste awful~ Oh great pig lord, great pig sir, I swear I never ate pork in my previous life, oh pig god. I have a family; I can’t die yet,” the person pleaded desperately.

Looking at the posterior that spoke, Lin Feng couldn’t help but deliver a swift kick to the trembling backside.

“Ouch, my poor old rear end!” came the pained exclamation.
