I have had my mouse for years and only just now pulled the protective sticker off the bottom which I didn’t know was there.
I only found out about it because one corner had started to peel off and it would catch and cause the mouse to jolt if I happened to put it down a certain way.
So how have your days been?
Oh right other than that I also got my new light novel delivered today.
I will have to make time to read that soon.
My mum is going on a trip to Spain in a day or two.
I think it lasts a week, they’re going by boat it seems.
She has to leave at 1am.
I would say that’s a crazy time but I stay up until way beyond that so…
Well it’s normal for me hahaha.
1pm would be harder for me to prepare for in fact.
I was playing Star Rail earlier today and I read some lore on some of the Aeons and laughed so hard at the Equilibrium one.
That is the in universe excuse they have for raising the world difficulty to keep pace with your raising levels.
But part of the lore is that it built a system to keep everything balanced, and that sometimes people try to challenge it with finding exploits.
This god is literally just the balance patch team self inserting with their war against min-maxers and exploiters.
It’s strange to think this is the last chapter I would normally post for a week until the weekend, only to realise I’m also publishing a new book series so I actually only have two days off from scheduling.
It’s turning into a proper job at this rate!
The only problem is that I’m counting in days not hours hahah.
Although to be fair maybe I should time how long I spend editing each month one time to see how much I would have to get paid if this was a proper job with minimum wage, as per UK law.
Might be interesting as a thought experiment.
I think I forgot to mention it yesterday but we came up with a plan!
A plan? you ask.
Yes a plan.
What kind of a plan? You ask again, as I am giving you very poor quality answers.
A good plan. I answer, seemingly evading the topic without realising.
Fine, if you won’t tell me I will leave. You say in exasperation, much to my shock.
No don’t I will tell you! I shout in a panic.
The plan is…
To mass dump chapters over July!
Yes, we will post ONE CHAPTER A DAY FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH!
Think of the binge reading potential!
That’s the plan.
My Star Rail progress is good.
I reached the not-china planet.
Obligatory Chinese region in the Chinese game, who saw it coming?
Interesting angle they took with it at least, it’s not quite Liyue in space.
Which honestly I was half expecting.
Anyway, I just reached Level 30 so I’m going to see if I can finally put Gepard down in the Simulated Universe.
It is officially May!
The month in which my existence came into being.
Well technically that would have been nine months before this month wouldn’t it?
Hm.
Hard to define in retrospect.
Anyway! I hope you all have gifts prepared for me by the end of the month!
So gacha games. Lets see.
Blue Archive updates in a few hours with the Kivotos Halo Festival Games!
The olympics of the schools! Hurray!
I’m excited to see that event honestly.
Then we have Star Rail releasing tomorrow too.
Much excitement for that.
Maybe I will stream it? Who knows.
Alright it’s super late, the sun has risen.
I ended up being delayed doing these by several factors which is annoying.
That delay also caused me to screw up my Blue Archive timing.
The servers went down for maint before I could do what I wanted to do on them, so yeah.
Oh, but I did get a new bulb for my lamp! So I’m happy about that.
And I finished reading volume 4 of Magical Explorer.
The UK had their first ever emergency alert system today.
It was quite a surreal thing, louder than I expected.
But good to know it works somewhat.
Not every phone got it though, which is why tests are important.
Oh and in other news my desktop lamps bulb finally died, so I need to replace it.
It’s been flickering a lot.
A book I kickstarted finally arrived today, I backed it about a year and a half ago?
Sadly it came damaged.
Apparently they had a poor quality batch and mine was part of it.
They have a form to report it, so we will see how it goes.
Either way, I have kinda lost some interest in the book since then.
Nice book though, it’s an illustrated guide on the basics of making things from fire to cities.
I started playing Universal Paperclips today.
It’s very very boring, uh fun.
Uh.
It’s hard to explain.
Anyway I can feel my productivity. Virtually, in the game.
I’m not productive at all in reality while playing it. But watching numbers go up is great.
Also questioning the meaning of existence.
You’re probably wondering why we seem to have skipped from 85 to 87.
Well, that’s because the author can’t count.
Amusingly, he also loses count again in a few chapters.
So the count is going to be off by two chapters in a couple of weeks time.
Luckily we are also reaching the end of this volume, so by next month we’ll be in the next volume!
Hurray!
