Last time on the Bell Interlude: Our eyes turn to the past of a certain shy mana seer. Before she could see mana, she was a once beloved child of great potential. But after it turned out that she had a defect preventing her from reaching her said potential, her family, and particularly her father, has started mistreating her. Years since then, she was gifted with an ability that was not easily understood, and, for better or for worse, she accidentally hid the details of this ability. Giving up on her, her father decided to disown her and send her to boarding school just as a final act of mercy.
Now then, what will happen this time? Will our poor girl have relief? Will this deal that’s clearly stacked against her take a turn for the better? Or will this just be the start of more suffering?
