Hiya~! This will be the last chapter of this year! I wish all of you a Happy New Year in advance, and since this is going to be the last one, it’s summary time!
Last time on AinCiel: With the practice duel done and dusted (naturally lost, btw), our princesses heard a loud cheer from the other side of the practice arena and observed the ongoings. There, a commoner boy with high magic power put up a good fight, but lost the battle. However, his combat abilities were greatly raved, mostly by the girls. The guy be handsome, apparently. This bought the ire of a thunder magic noble boy (that’s a mouthful), who then decided to be more flashier than him, resulting to the thunder boy’s magic going critical overload. Now who decided to go to his rescue? The said commoner boy, of course. The commoner knocked him out and, after this failed to stop the overload, was rescued by an elf girl and her sprite partner. And so that ended the arena ruckus. Naturally, our girls just stood by and watched. After that was the manner and etiquette exams, and when it came time for the dance part, our princesses were left without a partner, only told that she was the odd one out and her partner was still on the way. And who else would it be but the princess they rescued before!
Now then, what’s next? Is this whole thing a setup? If so, does the princess actually recognize them? Or is there a different plot brewing behind the curtains?
