Oh right, I can’t remember what novel I spoke about this on.
Turned out the reason youtube was being a terrible laggy piece of mess is because chrome was getting hung up on hardware acceleration or something.
So yeah.
I turned that off.

So far it hasn’t effected the rest of my internet experience so I’m glad youtube is back to normal.
