“I really didn’t want this to happen; it’s not my fault,” Lin Feng said with a helpless sigh as he gently placed Anna on the sofa.

Curiously eyeing Liu Mengqi’s attire, Lin Feng suddenly asked, “Where did you find those white silk stockings today?” He reached out and touched them familiarly, as if reconnecting with a long-lost sensation. “Ah, this texture, how nostalgic.”

Turning towards the door, Anna saw the chubby man who had been following them, drooling copiously. When he realized Anna was looking at him, he quickly wiped his mouth.

“Little sister, can I have one of those?” he asked with a sheepish grin, inching closer to the table.

“Who exactly are you?” Liu Mengqi inquired, passing a steamed bun to the man. She looked curiously at the chubby stranger trying to cozy up to Anna.

The food was communal, claimed by their group. Liu Mengqi didn’t harbor any hostility towards the seemingly harmless chubby man before her.
