After Mirabelle finished her shower, she remained at her desk as she continued to ‘translate’ the books.

Lucy didn’t urge her to hurry, but Mirabelle still thought that she should finish translating all these books before Heather returned the next night.

Actually, Mirabelle was fully capable of telling Heather about the weaknesses of the humans’ anti-vampire tools; however, Mirabelle didn’t want to go to such an extent. She was unwilling to directly sacrifice humanity in order to help her own people’s situation. That was why she would rather spend an all-nighter to translate all of these books.

Mirabelle wasn’t worried at all if Heather would believe her regarding an issue like this. If Mirabelle really told her, she was certain that Heather would 100% believe her.

Indeed – Mirabelle was confident that Heather had that much trust in her. -It could even be said that she was basically the closest person to Heather right now.

Yet, even though she was the closest person to Heather, she still had to escape from Heather’s side.

“Heather, I’m sorry…” Mirabelle said this as she continued her translation.

This might have been the first time that she directly called out Heather’s name. It might be the last time as well.

Gradually, Mirabelle became fatigued from all her writing. She felt like she wanted to go to sleep.

However, she forced her eyes to remain open. She felt really sleepy because there was no such thing as coffee in this world.

Mirabelle originally thought that she was already accustomed to all-nighters- she had often pulled all-nighters back when she was a game programmer who was on an urgent schedule.
Yet, it turned out she wasn’t used to all-nighters without coffee.

These books were actually incredibly easy for Mirabelle to understand. The problem was that the books had too many words.

The books were written on paper. Mirabelle also had to translate by writing the vampire language on paper. This was far more difficult than typing on a computer.

Even so, Mirabelle didn’t feel troubled by this at all. She actually revealed an even more serious expression as she continued to translate. No matter how much she wanted to sleep, her heart was filled with anxiety without Heather by her side.

‘-Is that so? Imperceptibly, I’m already treating Heather as a sleep aid that can help me to sleep well at night?’

Although this was a rather strange analogy, it was indeed evidence that Mirabelle relied on and treasured Heather. Mirabelle was finally unable to take her fatigue after she finished writing the final line of the book. She immediately put her head down on the desk and fell into a deep sleep.

“Milady, the Princess, she…”
“It’s alright. Let her sleep. I’ll move her onto the bed.”

Some hazy voices came from next to her as she slept.

It was dawn when she awakened. She was in her own soft bed with a blanket over her. Mirabelle had no idea how she had returned to her bed.

She felt like she hazily heard some people around her saying something while she was asleep, followed by her body suddenly feeling light and someone unknown carrying her.
Mirabelle felt like that person had been incredibly gentle.

Since this room was the room that Heather had given her, rather than Heather’s own room, Mirabelle wasn’t really accustomed to sleeping here. Mirabelle had unknowingly already become accustomed to sleeping on Heather’s large bed. Sleeping on that large bed would give her a sense of safety.

Could it be that – Heather had moved her onto the bed?

Mirabelle hurriedly got out of bed and confirmed the documents on her desk, but found that every single document had already disappeared.

Mirabelle widened her eyes in astonishment. She went to the door and turned the door handle.

The corridor was completely empty. Nobody was around at all.

Mirabelle slowly walked along the corridor towards a familiar room and turned the door handle for that door.
