“Ah… I meant she’s just got a personality really similar to my bro,” Endless Sea quickly corrected himself, realizing he had slipped.

Suspicious… but YoyoPink didn’t say anything.

“By the way, can you two stay up tonight?” Zane asked out of nowhere.
“Pull an all-nighter? No problem!”
“Do we really have to stay up all night…?” YoyoPink hesitated.
“Yep! The XP here is insanely good. Let’s just grind Bioraptors through the night. Tomorrow morning at 8—I’ll give you a surprise,” Zane said mysteriously.

After a moment of hesitation, YoyoPink nodded. If they kept farming this kind of monster all night, it would be equivalent to several days of solo grinding.

“Alright then—let’s head out and find the next one!”

“Damn it… where are they?” Worldshift said with growing frustration.
“They might’ve gone after a boss… or maybe just switched leveling spots,” FaintTrace guessed.
“…Forget it. Let’s head back.”
“Want to try adding them as friends?”
“Duh—I already tried this morning. They didn’t even respond.”

Just then, a rustle came from the nearby brush. A figure emerged from the foliage.

“Well, if it isn’t the great guild leader of Heaven’s Accord. And FaintTrace, too?” said a cocky male voice.
“GildedDrunk? What are you doing here?” FaintTrace asked coldly.
“Isn’t it obvious? I’m here for the same reason you are,” said the player with the ID GildedDrunk, grinning. “Alas. Too bad. Looks like they’re not here anymore. Welp, I’m off—you two keep searching~” He gave a lazy wave and turned to leave.

“Wait! Are you really not going to consider coming back to Heaven’s Accord?” FaintTrace called out urgently.
“…I’m not coming back. Goodbye.”
“Guild Leader! You’re not going to say anything?”
“…There’s nothing left to say. Let’s go.”

“…” FaintTrace clenched his fists—then slowly let them go.

With a fierce punch from Snowy—

The Flower Sprite instantly lost nearly half its HP!

Reeling from the pain, it prepared to strike back, but a glint of cold steel flashed behind it—

A clean backstab from Wanderer!

The Flower Toxin’s cast was momentarily interrupted. And that wasn’t all—Nangong’s arrow followed swiftly behind.

Snowy seized the moment to reposition, dodging out of the toxin’s range.

Then Zaria dashed in, sword raised high, and delivered a Heavy Slash!

After taking that round of concentrated damage, the Flower Sprite was left clinging to life. At that moment, Snowy threw another punch.

The Flower Sprite’s vines drooped as it collapsed, dropping a pile of loot onto the ground. At the same time, Snowy became the first to reach level 14.

“Perfect!” Nangong shouted excitedly. “I can’t believe we actually pulled off a no-damage kill!”
“Heh, I told you Snowy’s the strongest!” Zaria declared smugly, as if she were the one who’d just executed the flawless combo.

“It’s because we all worked well together~” Snowy replied happily.
“Come to think of it… Time flew by, it’s already 11 PM. And despite grinding all night, we haven’t even seen the boss spawn… Though we did manage to collect quite a few materials,” Wanderer said.

“These poisonous flowers are probably for Alchemy, right? What secondary profession did you guys pick?”
“None…” Zaria and Snowy answered in unison.
“I chose Cooking. I can make food that grants buffs—might come in handy for quests later. The only issue is materials; I’m stuck waiting to unlock them. I think I’ll need to do some miscellaneous quests in the city to gather what I need,” Wanderer explained.

“Alright then, I’ll go pick up Alchemy as my secondary profession. I checked the potion shop earlier—those potions are crazy expensive and not even that effective. Better to start training early,” said Nangong. “We’ve done enough for today anyway. Let’s call it here and grind again tomorrow. I’ll look into materials for low-level potions and level up my secondary profession a bit.”

“Sounds good.”

Leaning against the windowsill, Elna stared outside with a troubled expression.

Ever since she returned, her brother—Aegis, the Commander of Wynwater City—had been overjoyed. He spun her around twenty times in excitement, nearly making her dizzy.

And it wasn’t just him. Countless high-ranking officials had come to see her, including class mentors and even Sheen herself, who dropped by the estate to join the commotion.

It had taken great effort to finally get away from them, and now it was already nighttime.

Feeling the faint flicker of Wishkeeper power inside her, her thoughts drifted back to everything that had happened in the underground passage.

For the past six months, someone had been siphoning her power nonstop through some unknown method. As a result, her strength had been severely diminished. Aegis, afraid that someone might try to harm or exploit her again, had locked her inside the house for protection.

I wonder how those two are doing now… I really want to see them again.

“Zane, I sold the gold coins. After deducting the transaction fees, we each get five thousand. I’ll use the rest for a late-night snack.”
“Got it. Honestly, I forgot to eat! Grab something for me too, would ya?”
“What do you want?”
“Hmm… get me the large rib soup combo. I’m grinding through the night!”
“Seriously? You’re level 17 and still grinding? How do you think us lowly level 14s feel?”

“Hey, that’s not my fault. Didn’t you say you were sticking with your teammates?”
“I was! I grinded with them for half the day. Once I left, they didn’t have enough DPS. At least for today, I’ll see them through. But I already told them I’m not sticking around for tomorrow.”
“Fair enough.”

Late into the night, most players had already logged off. But plenty still remained, grinding away in Dreamscape. After all, this virtual reality game offered an experience like traveling to a whole new world—and more than that, it was packed with business opportunities. Pulling an all-nighter? Totally worth it.

Time flew by, and before they knew it—it was already 8 a.m. Zane’s Invoke: Revival had finally come off cooldown.

And it had been a night full of rewards—Zane and Starry had both reached Level 18, Endless Sea had hit Level 16, and YoyoPink had climbed up to Level 15.

Everyone let out an exhausted sigh.

Starry had already gone to sleep, so Zane was left alone, dual-controlling both characters through the night’s grind.

Over the course of the night, they had encountered a total of twelve Bioraptors. Worth noting: the last one actually dropped an Epic-Grade item!

A Level 20 Epic ring! Its attributes were blunt but powerful. Based on the Wishkeeper’s stat scaling, this one item alone would provide a whopping 219 magic attack—practically equivalent to Zane’s current total magic power output. Just equipping it would nearly double his offensive capability.

What’s more, the Meditation skill significantly alleviated MP pressure. Elna’s skill pool was extensive, and all had short cooldowns—only about 20 seconds—making them easy to cycle through continuously. With this ring, Zane likely wouldn’t even need to drink blue potions anymore.

Unfortunately… she couldn’t equip it just yet. Level 20 marked a major threshold. Upon reaching it, all mainstream classes would unlock new skills. Combat would start getting far more complex from then on.

Previously, Elna had used Invoke: Blessing and Invoke: Spirit’s Heart, which were most likely higher-tier skills. Zane didn’t know the exact unlock levels, but if they could be learned at 20, that would be ideal—Blessing was already superior to the buffs granted by Bards.

“Yoyo!”
“Huh!? What is it?” YoyoPink jolted awake, startled from her doze.
“Put Lordsey down,” Zane said with a grin. “I’m gonna show you a magic trick!”
