YoyoPink tied Lordsey to her back using the linen cloth. Thankfully, Lordsey wasn’t particularly large—otherwise, she might not have been able to walk at all.

For some reason, there was a peculiar warmth in the way this blonde-haired loli spoke. Even though she knew it was probably pointless, she still went along with it.

“We’re here—Mapleblossom Grove!” Nangong said excitedly.
“There are so few players around here…” Zaria remarked.
“It’s probably because of the antidotes,” Wanderer explained. “With gold prices being what they are now, one antidote costs fifteen yuan.”
“What!? Then you still bought that many, Nangong!?” Zaria cried out.
“It’s fine. I can afford that much. Don’t worry—we’ll make it back grinding mobs.”
“…”
“Anyway, let’s just give it a try first. Everyone, take an antidote!”
“Got it!”

Just then, a flower sprite spawned right next to Zaria. Its gentle face twisted into a grotesque expression, and a man-eating grin bloomed across the red petals.

As a level 14 Rare monster, its attack power wasn’t particularly high. But its HP and defense were noticeably buffed. The real issue, as they’d heard, was that flower sprites specialized in attrition—fights here burned through healing supplies fast, which explained the lack of players around.

“Ahh!” Zaria shrieked. Instinctively, she slashed down with her Radiant Iron Sword.

The damage was way too low.

Wanderer’s figure slowly faded out as he activated Stealth, vanishing from view. Nangong pulled back his bowstring and loosed a shot.

He did roughly the same damage as Zaria. Not surprising—his bow was still the default common one gifted by his mentor.

The flower sprite’s expression twisted even further.

A mass of vines surged outward, snaking straight for Zaria. In her panic, she was instantly caught. Entangle itself didn’t deal damage—just immobilization. The real danger came next:

The sprite exhaled a cloud of nearly invisible gas, drifting toward Zaria.

Damage ticked every half second. Without an antidote, that was 160 HP lost per second. Zaria’s barely 1,000 HP wouldn’t last long.

Just then, Snowy and Wanderer flanked the flower sprite from front and back. A silver dagger flashed behind it.

Snowy stepped in and slammed her fists into the flower sprite’s twisted face.

The group froze for a moment. Nearly 300 damage!? And that wasn’t even a critical—it was just a normal hit. Snowy looked a little embarrassed. “Um… I might’ve spent a bit of pocket money.”

“…” A bit? Nangong didn’t believe it for a second. That kind of damage? You’d need to be rocking full Uncommon gear and at least one or two Rare equipment. A set like that would easily cost thousands—maybe even over ten thousand RMB.

And she called that a bit!?

The flower sprite, staggered by the blow, released Zaria from the entangling vines. Zaria didn’t waste the opportunity and followed up immediately with a Heavy Slash!

The Flower Sprite was down to a quarter of its HP. Before it could launch another attack, it was finished off by a round of basic attacks.

Snowy only gave a soft smile. “I just thought this way we’d level up faster.”

“Faster? You’re practically three players in one! We’re doubling our kill speed—this way, we don’t even have to take a second round of damage. As long as we rotate luring mobs, we won’t need to use a single health potion!” Nangong said excitedly. “It’s a bit of a splurge, yeah, but since Snowy already invested so much, let’s make the most of it and grind hard to maximize the value of that gear!”

“Mm-hmm!”

And so, under the leadership of their resident whale, the all-DPS party began mercilessly mowing down the Flower Sprites of Mapleblossom Grove.

“Raaahhh—!” The bellow of a Bioraptor shook the four of them to the core.

An orange-red butterfly with black-spotted wings emerged from the summoning circle, fluttering bravely toward the Bioraptor. It crashed into the beast—and a pitiful damage number popped up.

And apparently, the butterfly’s frail wings couldn’t withstand the hardened scales—

The butterfly lost half its HP just from impact!

“Ah!” YoyoPink looked on helplessly at her poor butterfly.

“…” Wasting no time, Zane stepped up and activated his skill.

A curtain of searing flames engulfed the Bioraptor’s massive frame, triggering a barrage of outrageous numbers:

The Bioraptor hadn’t even had time to activate its Devour skill before it collapsed—burned to death in under three seconds.

Bathed in golden light, YoyoPink instantly leveled up to 11.

“Wow…” she gaped, lips slightly parted in awe.
“Damn, was that elemental weakness damage!?” Endless Sea blurted out.

Elemental weakness worked differently from weak point damage. Elemental weakness triggered when one element had a natural advantage over another—like ice over fire—and would provide bonus damage accordingly. Weak point damage, by contrast, referred to striking physical vulnerabilities for higher output. The two could stack, but they were separate mechanics.

“Seems like it. That thing had crazy high physical defense. Once it activated Scale Hardening, even Starry could barely scratch it. Thank goodness we had a magic skill—otherwise, we’d never have been able to handle this Epic-tier monster,” Zane explained.

He glanced at the loot drop—three more gold coins! At this rate, hitting 10,000-RMB a day wasn’t just a dream.

Still, this kind of gold farming was only lucrative during the first few days. Once the major guilds were capable of farming their own gold efficiently, exchange rates would drop fast. They needed to liquidate while prices were hot.

Aside from the coins, the Bioraptor also dropped a sleek silver-white bracelet.

Its stats were excellent—straightforward but powerful. +17 Strength, +27 Dexterity, and a bonus +15 Vitality for survivability. And the best part: an 8% speed boost from the Lightstep trait!

“Ahem… Sea, Yoyo—shall we let Starry have the bracelet?” Zane asked.
“No objections here,” said Endless Sea, nodding.
“You don’t need to ask me… I’m just a tag-along… You guys did all the hard work on that boss,” YoyoPink mumbled, embarrassed.
“That won’t do. You’re part of the team now—everyone’s treated equally. Starry gets the Lightstep Bracelet, and we split the coins three ways,” Zane said.
“Huh? I don’t need the coins…” YoyoPink said hastily.

“Go ahead and take them. That’s just how Brother Emberveil is,” Endless Sea laughed. “Trust me—he’ll definitely need your help again.”
“…Alright then. I’ll do my best,” YoyoPink replied as she accepted the coins. But something felt off…
“Wait… Brother?” she blinked, tilting her head in confusion.
