Project GB is an official initiative by Re:Library.

Summoners had two types of summons: skill-based summons and contract summons.

Skill-based summons were just as the name implied—summoning creatures through learned skills. Their strength scaled with level. Contract summons, on the other hand, involved forming a pact with a wild beast or magical creature, turning them into permanent summons.

However, since she had only just changed her class before being captured by Lordsey, YoyoPink currently had access to just the most basic skill-based summon.

Wings tinged orange and red with speckled black patterns, a Level 10 Little Butterfly emerged from the glowing blue magic circle in front of YoyoPink.

“Shade,” the master said sternly, “you must always watch your words and actions. In our faction, there are no such things as ‘true allies.’ Only I, your Master, have the tolerance to put up with your nonsense. Anyone else…”

The player named ‘Shade’ rolled his eyes. “Alright, alright, I got it. That goblin should be dead by now, yeah?”

The master nodded. “No sign of life. Let’s head back.”

“What about that adventurer girl? The one the goblins captured,” Shade asked.
“She’s unnecessary. Not suited for us.”
“I see…” he replied, though clearly disgruntled.

Such a cute girl, and you’re just going to leave her? He’d only been in the Dark Faction for half a day, and it was already a nightmare. The demons and monsters lurking there were terrifying—not a single normal one among them! It wasn’t that there weren’t any beauties. On the contrary, there were quite a few stunning female NPCs… but once they revealed their true forms, he nearly fainted from fright.

If he could, he really wanted to recruit a few more decent folks into the faction. Unfortunately, that girl was out of the question.

“Sigh~” Shade let out a helpless breath and followed the black-robed man down the path.

“Hello! Have you seen a really strong Goblin anywhere?” Starry stepped forward and asked.

“You’ve seen him!? Can you tell us where he is?”
“He’s already… dead.”

“What!?” They hadn’t expected someone else to get there first—this could’ve been the first kill on an Epic-tier boss!

“I think… he was probably killed by an NPC from the Dark Faction. His subordinates are carrying him away now.” YoyoPink pointed to the right.

“Thank you!”

Though this girl seemed a little suspicious, they didn’t have any other leads right now. An Epic-tier boss meant potential Epic-grade loot. Just look at the difference between the Autumn Moon Sword and the Fractured Hammer—gear quality meant absolute superiority in stats.

They cautiously drew closer. The Bioraptor was still fixated on its meal, seemingly unaware of their presence.

The Bioraptor had just finished off another Goblin and, only then, noticed the human and wolf pair standing at its feet.

“ROAARRRR—!”

The massive beast let out a deafening roar, trying to intimidate the tiny intruders into unconsciousness.

No helping it now. Guess we’ll have to deal with this thing first!

“Just what I had in mind,” Starry said with a nod.

The poison effect appeared to have been negated, but thankfully, the armor-breaking effect still applied—Bioraptor’s defense dropped to 53.

Starry aimed straight for its heel.

That wasn’t all— she followed-up with another Icy Moon Slash!

The frost barely managed to cling to its surface before shattering apart—this behemoth was clearly resistant to crowd control effects!

Just as Starry was about to continue her assault, the Bioraptor stomped heavily on the ground. Its scales began to rapidly expand and thicken, visibly spreading over its exposed skin. At the same time, it snatched up another Goblin and tossed it into its maw.

In the blink of an eye, the health it had lost was fully restored.

“…” The Bioraptor was simply too tall—there was no way to stop it from feeding. And what’s worse—
