That day, the most senior students, who had been absent the previous day, finally arrived at school, albeit a little later.

Cara Edgar was a petite girl, whose height was somewhere between mine and Dana’s. Her short black hair and dark eyes gave her a distinctly Japanese appearance, which made me feel an unexpected sense of kinship with her.

Alicia and Jessica, on the other hand, were taller—about the same height as Mia, or perhaps even a little taller. It seemed fitting for their age.

Alicia Lugosi had soft ash-brown hair with a few playful curls, tied back into a ponytail secured with a simple white ribbon.

Jessica Karloff’s strawberry-blonde hair was styled into neat braids that draped over both shoulders. Her elegant limbs and poised demeanor gave her the air of a model.

In the end, however, even these three found themselves overshadowed.

It appeared that I had firmly secured my spot as the favorite pet here.

Once again, I found myself like a small boat being tossed about by the waves. As I struggled to make sense of my surroundings, one of the most senior students, a boy named Victor Frank, appeared beside me without a sound. Victor placed a hand on my shoulder and leaned in to whisper something. Before the words could even register in my mind, Alicia’s punch sunk into the middle of Victor’s face. Like literally sunk in!

Victor’s beautiful blonde hair fluttered dramatically as he was sent flying to the back of the classroom.

The sudden turn of events left me spinning with confusion. “What? What? What just happened?” I thought, my eyes darting around the room. Before I could process it, Victor somehow reappeared—this time standing beside Mia with his hands casually around her waist. In an instant, Cara, who had been quietly averting her gaze, unleashed a devastating punch of her own. The punch tore Victor apart and sent him flying in the distance as if he’d been hit with a Galactica Magnum1.

“Listen, Su. Don’t make eye contact with that thing. Don’t even get close to it! If it ever gets close to you, make sure to yell! Understood?!”

Cara said firmly, gripping me by both shoulders and looking me straight in the eyes. I noticed all of the other girls nodding in approval and then letting out a collective sigh.

(Ah, I see. So he’s one of those guys…)

With a faint smile, I told Cara, “G-Got it,” and nodded.

Then, Mary, a girl one year younger than me, came and apologized, “Please excuse my brother.”

Afterwards, Shelly, who was even younger than Mary, followed suit, saying, “I’m sorry for all the trouble he’s caused you.”

Mary of the 6th level and Shelly of the 4th level were both Victor’s younger sisters.

“You two have done nothing wrong.”
“You don’t need to apologize!”

Cara and Alicia said, trying to comfort the girls.

Still, Mary and Shelley looked uneasy, saying, “At this rate, I’m afraid of what will happen if we go out into the city…”
“We’re worried sick.”
“Don’t worry about it! We’ll make sure to have a noose firmly tied around his neck!” Jessica said, tapping her chest.
“Hahaha. It’s fine, my sisters! We love each other so much. What could you possibly have to worry about?”

Victor, grinning with his white teeth, had appeared behind Jessica, his hands casually resting on her shoulders as he leaned in to whisper near her neck.

(Just when did he get there?! Also, didn’t his teeth flash just now??)

“You! They’re worrying because of Y-O-U!”

Jessica shouted as she delivered an iron claw to Victor’s face. A loud creaking sound echoed.

Victor tapped frantically on Jessica’s arm in an attempt to free himself, but Jessica just swung her braids to the side and lifted her clawed hand higher and higher. Finally, a sharp, muffled breaking sound rang out—a sound that should never have come. Victor’s form went limp and lifeless.

Without a second thought, Jessica tossed him out the window like a discarded toy and turned back towards Mary and Shelly, giving them a reassuring smile.

“It’s okay now.”

(W-What in the world happened? What’s going on?! What happened to him?! Is he alive?!)

I was completely shocked by the scene just now. Seeing me like this, Corin approached me.

“It’s fine. You don’t need to worry. This happens all the time.”
“A-All… time? Really?”
“Yep. You don’t need to worry about him! It’s best if you think of this as that kind of thing.”

She adjusted her glasses with a precise flick, exuding an air of nonchalance.

“But more importantly, you don’t want Stephan to turn into that kind of thing, right? As such, he must be taught what not to do.”

(That’s right! I want that pure-hearted prankster to learn as soon as possible! I don’t want him to become something like that!)

With newfound resolve, I nodded vigorously at Corin.

After that, another boy from the highest level, Arrow Beas, came to apologize, saying, “I’m sorry about all the racket.”

(Finally a normal person. And a gentleman at that! I feel so relieved now. Normal is good! It’s good, I tell you! Normal is like the best! By the way, all of the other boys. I hope you know that I noticed what happened this morning.)

Willie Hodgson, who was a year older. Lombard Brook and Irvine, who were both my age. Belknap, one of the sons of the Long family, and a boy one year younger than me, as well as Cara’s younger brother, Alan, and even Clark of the Smith family, and the Ashton twins. All of you gathered behind me when you saw that Stephan was creeping up on me, didn’t you? You all watched my a̲s̲s̲ and exclaimed in excitement, didn’t you?! I was aware, you know!

Nevertheless, they were all children. I didn’t really care about children seeing my panties or not. Besides, I could understand why they’d want to do it. If I knew that a skirt-lifting event was about to happen, I’d go too. I’d go without a doubt. Any boy would! That’s what being a boy is all about!!

Still! It was strange!!

The girl mindset that was slowly developing inside of me was telling me that I would never forget this.

(Maybe I really shouldn’t let Stephan do it.)

That incident left me quite shocked. For a moment I even saw his head as a pomegranate… Luckily, I didn’t split it. Even so, what would I have done if the inside of his head had turned into dropped tofu?! I was seriously about to cry.

I’m sure I gave him a concussion. Luckily, I immediately placed my hand on his forehead and sent in my Chi, in other words, I’d used Treatment. The reason I didn’t need to use Heal was because the effects of Treatment seemed to work quite well.

Thinking back, it was likely that Treatment had also healed Sir Howard’s wounds at that time.

Back then, I’d used it in combination with the detoxification spell Cure, but the way I was now, I could probably treat small wounds with only Treatment.

Either way, what mattered the most was that Stephan woke up without issues.

Next time I’ll have to try holding back by wrapping myself in Chi. I’ll wrap myself around with Chi to use it as a cushion. Given the type of kid he is, I doubt he’ll give up, and he’ll likely keep coming after me. I feel somewhat sorry for him, but I’ll use Stephan as a practice partner.

In exchange, I’ll train him up for as long as he comes after me.

I’ll do it slowly by narrowing the opportunities and by using different positions. Fufufu. Come at me whenever Stephan! I’ll whip you up into shape!
