The two weeks mostly spent on restoring books and getting a deeper understanding of history had ended, and we were back on Earth. Mika and I didn’t have anything planned so far for this week.

The intra scholastic tournament was next week, so Shuu had ramped up his training, and Kanata and Sakura would apparently go on a date at the Zoo next Sunday. Anyway, we didn’t have anything planned and no good ideas had come to me, so that was what was on my mind right now.

Still, it was hard to come up with something. I was at the end of my rope concerning how to spend time with Mika. Moreover, a little over four months from now, the second year of high school would end. I had to find ways to have fun and make out with Mika during that time. Once the third year of high school started, we’d be busy studying for entrance exams¹.

And while our school was combined with a grade- and middle school, with even a university technically being connected to it, which should make it easy to get in one of the better universities after finishing high school, we couldn’t get negligent. On that note, said grade-, middle-, and high schools plus the connected university were said to be among the most demanding in the country.

Come to think of it, it had only been around two and a half months since we came home from Anazumu. If you summed up the combined time on Earth and in Anazumu, almost a year had passed for me since I first arrived in the other world. Thinking about it, so many things happened… way too many. Surely, I would never experience another such eventful year.

Not good. Right now, I shouldn’t think back on the past, I need to come up with a way to spend time with Mika this week. Most important among that our next date on Sunday.

…We got those tickets that let us enter for free, so maybe we should go to the circus again, just as the two of us? From what I heard, it would stay here until mid-December. But on second thought, we just went there last week on this side, so that won’t work. What to do, what to do…

“Ayumu, is something wrong?” Mika was peering at my face.

Right now, we were on our way to school. She likely asked me since I seemed as if my mind was far away. She looked adorable. It made me want to ravish her right here.

“Ah, no, I was just thinking. About what we could do this week.”
“It’s fall, so let’s go gather mushrooms!”
“Mushrooms… hm~. It might be dangerous if we pick any poisonous ones. How about we gather grapes instead?”
“Let’s do that!”

After quickly dismissing the idea of gathering mushrooms, we settled on grapes instead. In the end, if we talked it out together, we usually came up with decent plans.
Gathering grapes is a nice idea. Though it was mine to begin with.

On third thought, we hadn’t spent any time looking at the leaves changing color this year. Maybe we could do this on that outing, too.

“If we had more time, we could go to a hot spring inn and enjoy the scenery of fall, just as the two of us,” Mika mused.
“But we don’t… Grr.”
“Exactly. Staying in a place with a mixed open-air bath and then taking baths as the two of us… Eh-heh.”

And then crawling under the covers next to each other, while not wearing anything, and get intimate.

Time certainly was an issue, but we didn’t have that much money saved up either. Staying at a hot spring inn would be a hard ask.

“Well, gathering grapes will be enough for this week!”
“Yeah!”

The most important part was to have fun. We could feed each other the grapes.

“With that settled, we’ll have to work hard this week, right?”
“Right!”

We walked to our school with linked hands, as always. Likely since everyone was used to it at this point, there were no snide comments. After boarding the train while staying vigilant, we started talking again.

“Oh, Ayumu, you got these tickets, right? Couldn’t we go to the circus again?”

It looked like Mika had the same idea.

“I was also thinking of doing that.”
“Makes sense. Not using them would be such a waste.”

Circuses didn’t stay in the same place for long. We had to use the tickets while we still had the chance. Looking at it another way, they hardly made up for all the trouble the man had caused us… Well, it was the thought the counted.

“What wrong, Ayumu? You’re looking so grave. Wanna touch my chest?”
“If I fondle your chest while we’re on the train, people will think I’m a groper. Let’s do that when we’re back home.”
“…Eh-heh-heh, that’s fine.”

Me looking grave? That’s not good.

In any case, I didn’t expect to talk about making out on the train today. It took me so much by surprise, I ended up being unable to resist and actually touching her chest. Even Mika, who had been the one to tell me to do it, was blinking in surprise.

“Ah, we’ve arrived.”

Afterwards, we simply continued walking to school while holding hands.

Walking to school together, deciding on what to do on dates and talking about pervy things… spending our everyday peacefully like this is nice, too.
Well, what counts as “everyday” is different for everyone. Other people seeing us probably think we’re way too lovey-dovey. Tee-hee.

Turns out the intra scholastic Judo tournament is usually around August. I wrote this without doing much research. Incidentally, the current events are in the middle of November, and Shuu’s tournament will be at the end of it.

Let this be a lesson for the future.

1. Didn’t they already cover that during their study-craze in Anazumu? I guess it’s another case of having to keep up appearances, so people don’t think they’re lazy slobs.
