A few minutes before the parade with the bride and groom started, Parasuna had thrown the bouquet. All the preparations for said parade, with the streets cleared so the citizens and travelers could watch, were done well, seeing it had been performed in the name of the king.

On that note, Uruto was wearing his Lastman costume halfway on both his face and body, so people would recognize him. Parasuna wasn’t much different from usual, except for her rabbit ears and tail being on display.

“Still… it lost out to your performance, Alim. We were planning to use this to demonstrate the might of our country, but… both Item Master and your designs proved superior.”

I ended up receiving some words of praise from the king who had joined us unnoticed. I did work hard, so I was glad to hear that.

He likely wanted them to tie the knot soon.

“Once that time comes, you can count on me.”

Though when will that be? From how it looks, those four haven’t even kissed. Marriage and having kids are likely still far away. Worst case, Mika and I might have our ceremony first.

You could say that he was used by Samaeyl.

Furthermore, the reason that he was originally summoned to this world was seemingly for some deity’s amusement. He was a deeply tragic figure. Still, he did bring an evil god back to life, who then went after people dear to me like Mika and Karua… and Parasuna, from Uruto’s perspective. Except for Uruto and me, she killed everyone in and around the city. It was completely unforgivable.

By the way, Mephistophales had apparently been the leader of a circus troupe on Earth. Mika and I had been there before.

[What about him? Did he escape?]

His message stopped at this point, and he mimed striking his neck with his hand.

The king showed a slight smile and then left Mika and me.
