“Woof~~, I’m so tired…”

Rir dove onto the bed in our room in Ayumu’s mansion.

“Right, you sure worked hard!”

I patted her head. When I did, she smiled, and her ears perked up in apparent delight.

Two weeks…

We continuously leveled up, using Reincarnation a total of 305 times. We kept increasing our pace, reaching 35 rounds on the final day. You could say that we didn’t do things halfway when it came to that. Most of all, the exp gain per round was increased tenfold thanks to the titles of us sages and the buff from that statue that looked so much like Lord Jizou.

That dungeon normally gave 420’000 exp per round… which turned into 4.2 million for us. It took about 2.2 rounds per Reincarnation. Still, running the same dungeon 700 times was an act of madness. Can you imagine? Without that ten-times-multiplier, those would’ve been 7000 rounds.

We somehow managed with Rir at the core of the group and Kanata, Sakura, and I splitting up the work between us. Rir did by far the most rounds.

…If I tell this to Ayumu, he’ll probably laugh at me¹.

S-Still. All of us, including Rir, reached the stat cap! Us three sages also maxed out HP and MP at 9’999’999 stat points. We could probably go for the rest of our lives without ever setting foot again into a dungeon for exp purposes.

“Shuu, now I can go to the other world, can’t I?”
“Yup, you sure can.”
“Woof.”

She clung to my arm, seemingly wanting to be spoiled. There was probably a happy expression on her face again.

Suddenly, my gaze strayed to another point, when I was about to look at her face. My eyes were drawn to two mounds visible under her clothing. She had been quite exhausted since we came back, so it was unavoidable that they were visible in her disheveled state. Yep, unavoidable.

…It’s a sad thing that my eyes focus on that part when we have such a nice atmosphere goin’.

She was probably grasping what I was trying to tell her, and her tail started to wag happily.

Still… what is goin’ on with me today? For some time now, I ain’t thought ’bout stuff like sex at all, so did it finally reach the point where it just blows up? Even though I’m havin’ a serious conversation with Rir.

“When you and the others came to this world, all the information about it you got were a few words. Based on that, it’s likely safe to assume that I will also get information in verbal form about your world.”
“R-Right.”
“That’s the reason… I can’t help worrying, even at this point.”

That hypothesis certainly sounds compellin’. I couldn’t have come up with that.
