“Phew, with this my work is done!”
A few hours later.
I bought the boss materials from Ruin and then sold everyone legend grade equipment. Furthermore, I added enchantments to the sword and bracelets they had obtained and removed the negative parts. On top of that, I went over Tuhl’s notes, made a few additions, and then added an enchantment that ensured it wouldn’t be misused.
That should take care of all loose ends.
“Then… does that mean the training is over already?” Ruin asked.
“Yes, that’s how it is.”
Indeed, this marked the end of our training. Now that I fulfilled the promise from so long ago, I felt a bit empty.
“Alim, I am truly thankful to you,” Karua said.
“I never would’ve thought… such a method to level-up existed,” Tuhl added.
With Karua in the vanguard, they all voiced their gratitude.
“Hey. To think we’d really… uhm… what level were we again two weeks ago?” Lilo wondered.
“Around level 35, Lilo,” Myuri told her.
“And now we’ve used Reincarnation more than 30 times.”
This went especially for Karua, who had started at level 11. The thought of ending up at such a power level probably never crossed her mind.
“So, what will you do from now on?” I asked, since I was curious how they’d spend their lives after leveling up and becoming this strong.
“Hm? Right. We’ve already settled on that. We originally started working as adventurers to get stronger like our fathers. From now on… We’re planning on putting more effort into studying politics and such while increasing our adventurer ranks. We probably won’t need to train this often anymore.”
I see, so they will continue their activities until they officially become SSS-Rankers, but in place of the frequent training, they’ll study.
Orgo, Lilo, and Myuri would apparently study to do the jobs of their fathers.
“I will… continue as I have done so far. I will likely reduce the time I spend training in weapons like my brother and focus on my studies.”
“I guess I’ll do the same.”
Karua and Tuhl also had settled on what to do.
Being in a position where you had to study was tough. Though even saying that, their increased stats would make those studies easier. They might soon run out of things to learn.
Both the royals and the children of their close aides will end up spending the rest of their time in this world making out just like Mika and me… like hell this is going to happen! I’m sure they’ll find something to do once they finish their studies.
“That said, with your increased stats, you will progress faster in your studies than you think. You might very well manage to study dozens or even hundreds of times faster than you used to. If this proves true, you might run out of things to learn. What will you do once you have learned everything necessary?”
“Huh… hm~~~?”
Ruin and the others frowned in concern. The thought of “taking advantage of their position and living it up” likely never crossed their minds. That was why the Mephilad Kingdom was such a great place.
Besides, there currently weren’t any wars, public order was good due to Uruto’s activities three years ago, and using my items after the war with the demons took care of all the “problematic” people, so it was as good as it would get.
“Well, I guess all we can do is… look for ways to support the country, right? Even after thinking it over again and again, studying comes first,” Ruin said as a representative of the group after they had pondered it for around five minutes.
So, they’ll focus on studying, after all.
“You’re right. Please do your best!” I cheered them on.
“On the other hand, what will you, Mika, and the sages do, Alim?”
“Huh?”
I didn’t expect Karua to throw my question back at me.
“Let me think…”
It isn’t like I have nothing to do, be that here or on Earth.
“If something happens, then we will help, and as long as nothing comes up, we will live our lives in leisure. On Anazumu, that is. Right, Mika?”
“Exactly.”
That was our reply.
That should be for the best.
“I see,” Karua replied. “There might come a time when I ask you for another favor, Alim. Likely something item related. When that time comes…”
“I’ll obviously help you, just give me a call! As long as it’s something I can do!”
“Thank you ever so much!” She smiled as she thanked me.
“So… what will we do with the rest of today? Are we going back to the castle?” Ruin asked, glancing at the magic room’s clock.
“No, I was thinking of returning tomorrow morning. Why not spend the night here?”
“Understood, we’ll take you up on that offer.”
Thus, everyone would spend the remainder of today in the magic room. It looked like we’d have a sleepover with Karua and the others, just like two weeks ago.

- Well, when you get the point of reaching the level cap dozens of times, the difference between level 1 and 35 is less than a rounding error.
