“Yes, that was probably all. Look there,” I said, pointing at the treasure chest, a sword stabbed into the ground, and the teleporter to get outside, which had appeared where the Magearna Dragon had been defeated.
“Th-That was it… seriously…” Lilo stammered.
“If this had been us from two weeks ago, it would’ve killed us in moments, wouldn’t it?” Ruin wondered.

He was right. Assuming a group of D-Ranks tried to challenge the Magearna Dragon, they wouldn’t have any chance of victory. Rather, they’d be instantly wiped out.

“Could you get the treasure chest again, Karua?” he asked his sister.
“Of course!”

Thinking of it, there is no luck stat in this world. If there was, just how high would hers be?

“What about the sword…?” he then wondered.
“I think you should be the one to take it, Ruin,” Tuhl commented.
“”No objection.””
“I-I see. I won’t refuse, then…”

Next to Karua, Ruin rushed up to the sword near the treasure chest. A curious atmosphere of “whenever something nice shows up, it’s Ruin who gets it” was in the air.

“I can appraise that for you!” I told them. “Just give me a moment.”

Karua and Ruin both brought over their spoils of war. I appraised everything.

The sword was quite the find. It grew stronger by absorbing MP, which was similar to my own swords. Additionally, it doubled the effects of support magic and skills used on the wearer.
In other words, if Ruin used Power of Bonds right now, his stats would be multiplied by at least 14. It was amazing.

As for the treasure chest… Even calling it hitting the jackpot wouldn’t do it justice.

First, there were two SSS-Rank magic cores. This alone would have been amazing, but it also contained three legend grade bracelets.

The first tripled the wearer’s spellpower in exchange for lowering their attack, and it increased their HP and MP regeneration speed tenfold.
The second doubled the wearer’s attack and defense in exchange for lowering their spellpower, and it strengthened the resistance to all elements.
The third doubled the wearer’s spellpower in exchange for lowering their attack, it enabled them to layer on another cast of support magic, and it halved the MP cost of healing and support magic.

That was about it.

Getting three such insane pieces of equipment at once seemed unthinkable. Tuhl and Karua declined taking any, seeing how well they were suited to the three members of Seinforce other than Ruin. Still, there had been two more things in the chest, which seemed to have been intended for those two.

The first was a skill card (likely another dungeon exclusive one). By reducing the stats of up to five people within a 100-meter radius by 10%, it increased the user’s stats by 50%1. This was with the skill at level 1.
It looked like you could choose which people within that radius you picked, so the skill was tailor made for Tuhl with his status screen viewing power.

The other was an S-Rank skill called “Princess’ Prayer”, seemingly perfect for Karua. It required the user to possess a charm-type title like “Gift of Charm” or higher. Even if they didn’t have such a title, they would immediately obtain it after learning the skill, as long as they were able to.
As for what the skill did; first, it multiplied the stats of those around the user by 1.5. That alone would’ve been crazy enough, but it further increased their HP and MP regeneration speed tenfold.

Just what is that skill. You’re not using cheats, Karua, are you?

Weirdly enough, those were the contents of the treasure chest. Why had there only been such great things in there?

“Phew. That does it for distributing the treasures, Ruin commented. “Alim, were those on the better side?”
“Huh? That’s not just on the better side, this stuff is straight up bonkers. Completely friggin insane!”
“Alim… language…”

Oops, I slipped up. I normally wouldn’t put it that bluntly.
Well, both in number and quality, these drops are way too good.

“A-At any rate! With this, you have cleared the dungeon!” I tried to deflect. “Congratulations!”
“Yeah! But was that alright? You received this dungeon as a gift from Father, did you not, Alim?” Karua wondered. “For us to complete it…”

I don’t mind that. That’s why I asked for several of them from the start.
Besides, this dungeon is way too useful, so I’ll use my Item Master to its fullest to tinker with it, so it won’t disappear.

“It’s fine! Don’t worry about it.”
“If you say so.”

“…Thank you, Alim. Then, shall we plunge into that light?”

After Ruin proposed that, each of them stepped onto the teleporter.

“Ayumu, let’s go!”

Finally, just Mika and I were left. Incidentally, Ruin had stored away the Magearna Dragon’s corpse.

“Yep. Just give me a moment.”

After tossing a ball-shaped device into the center of the boss arena, I linked hands with Mika and stepped into the light.

[Cleared Tria Erial Mountains’ dungeon “Joy”.
You obtained the title “Conqueror of the Dungeon ‘Joy’ – 2”.
You obtained the seal “Mountain of the Mechanical Dragon God”.
You obtained 5000 STP and SKP as an extra reward for clearing the dungeon.]

Footnotes:

  1. Doesn’t sound that OP. Maybe you can use the stat reduction offensively? Probably depends on what is classified as “people”.
