There was another rustling sound. Now, he probably sprinkled the Amrita over it.

“O-Oh!?” Shuu’s voice sounded surprised.

Come to think of it, this is the first time we are resurrecting someone from just a hair. How does the body form…? I’m somewhat curious, but for Shuu’s sake, I won’t turn around.

She had blueish, light gray hair, a bit longer than mine and just short of reaching her shoulders². On first glance, the hue matched Shuu’s current hair. Her tail’s color was also the same³.

Then… to start with, she had quite the lovely face. In our class back on Earth, she’d undoubtedly be the second cutest girl (although she was no match for the first-placed Mika).

While her body looked rather thin, her chest was… indeed, it was clear with a single glance. Although she wasn’t on Lilo’s level, her assets were quite substantial.

She called him “Master”, did the jerk do that kind of roleplay with her, after all? Even Mika and I still stuck to rather normal things in that area…

“I… I hear you. But… where are we? And what in the world am I…”

Rir looked around once more, shooting us a glance, before focusing on Shuu again. He brought her to his chest and hugged her again.

“Ha-ha… well, a ton of stuff happened…! Like, crazy much.”
“…Shuu, I will try to explain it in a brief manner,” Kanata interrupted. “You don’t know much about what happened, either, do you?”
“Right, my bad.”

Kanata gave them a short account of what had happened from after Rir’s death until Surtr was sealed. He was rather skilled at putting it into words, I wouldn’t have expected any less of him.

“So, I died. Once.”
“Yes. And then Shuu was possessed by Surtr…” Kanata explained.
“Woof… It was my fault… I am sorry, Shuu, everyone.”

She got out of Shuu’s arms and prostrated herself.
So, what he said about her having that habit was true?

“P-Please raise your head, Rir!”
“Woof, Sakura…”
“She’s right, you know,” Mika added. “We managed to seal Surtr, and, with a few exceptions, no one was hurt, so it’s all good, right?”
“Yeah… Woof?”

Rir took a second look at Mika, who’d just spoken to her. When she was about to look at her a third time, her blue eyes, which were already big, opened even more widely.

“Rir, didn’t I mention their names earlier?” Kanata wondered.

1. The original is 塊が弾けたよう (“like a lump bursting”). Not sure if this is meant like I translated it.
2. The original is “Semi-long hair that just barely doesn’t reach a short cut”. No clue how long that is supposed to be, so I went with the shoulders, since that seems short for typical light novel hair.
3. I think this is the first time her hair (and tail) color is mentioned since she showed up in volume 9.
