To celebrate surpassing 100k subscribers, I held a PSKG tournament. I thought a few hundred participants would be good, but to my surprise, I had a whopping thousand.
And there were even more people who simply registered.
Just a while ago, the last match of the preliminary rounds finished.
Meaning, it’s finally my turn.
The fighters I’ll be facing now are the tough ones who made it into the top ten of each block.
I might not beat the pros, but I’m pretty confident in my own skills.
I have to enjoy this till the end!
{All right, everyone, let’s have a good match!}
{Okay, here I go!}
Then, the final battle started.
♢
First, I rushed to the highly contested Industrial Area.
I chose a less crowded spot to loot.
Upon entering, I quickly found an assault rifle and plenty of ammo.
I really wanted a sniper rifle, but none were around, so I settled for a shotgun for close combat.
Right now, mid- to close-range is my best fighting distance. As my weapon’s power decreases, I need to be careful with long-range.
The Industrial Area has fewer meds, so after grabbing what I could, I planned to head to the farm area.
But obviously, this place is a battleground, so it’s not easy to just move around.
Near me, a decent number of people are engaged in gunfights, and the remaining player count is dropping fast.
Then, I spotted someone in my line of sight.
{First fight, this is nerve-wracking…}
I check the distance and ready my assault rifle.
By the way, I’m using an M*A1, a very stable gun that has been used in games for a long time.
I often use this underrated gun.
It’s stable and makes it easy to aim for headshots.
Even a low-powered weapon can be deadly with a headshot.
Getting a headshot or sneaking up on enemies is key in this game.
I switched to my shotgun as I got close, expecting a close combat situation.
Suddenly, an enemy trying to leave a building appeared right in front of me.
{Ah! Don’t just pop out like that, you scared me!}
While saying that, I shot at the enemy with my shotgun.
They reacted well, jumping to avoid a headshot, reducing the damage to their torso.
But I still had ammo left in my shotgun.
This is the end for you!
{Yah!}
I finished them off with two shots, quickly collected their loot, and decided it was time to move on.
huh? yuka-chans actually pretty good
She handled that surprise enemy so coolly
She took them down easily, even though she said she doesn’t use shotguns much
Yuka-chan’s so cool!
go yuka-chan!
I couldn’t afford to read the cheering comments, but a glance showed me lots of people were supporting me.
{With everyone’s support, I’ll do my best!}
Only 50 players left.
The game’s halfway done. Let’s keep it up!
DIE-gest
This match had Yuka participating, and unlike me, it was filled with real power players.
A moment of carelessness and I’d be done.
Just like before, I tried to gather equipment in the isolated island area when “that person” appeared.
Unreal reaction speed, sniping distant enemies accurately, that merciless sniper skill.
Yes, that Emily girl Yuka had mentioned.
I hadn’t seen her sniping skill during the match, but she was dangerous.
I quickly hid in the bushes, crawling to avoid detection.
With a helmet on, I shouldn’t die easily.
Mockingly, her merciless bullet pierced my head, and my turn ended in an instant.
♢
This is crazy, impossible!
I was taken out in a flash without even seeing my sister.
While searching for items, I suddenly encountered someone with a sniper rifle.
I had a shotgun and thought I had a chance at close range.
That part went well.
But as soon as the enemy turned around, I was dead.
How can anyone beat that?
It’s just so confusing…
Emily’s POV
I decided where to start with roulette.
Anywhere’s fine as long as I can get the right weapons.
And I landed in the Isolated Island Area.
I remember this area had completely random spawns.
As long as I find a sniper, I can’t lose. Let’s look for weapons.
The first weapon I got was a high-powered handgun.
Two headshots would take down anyone without a helmet.
Three if they have one, but if all shots land cleanly, no problem.
Then I spotted an enemy with a sniper rifle.
Medium range, but not too far to take them out.
I attached a 2x scope to my handgun and shot the enemy’s head as soon as I looked through the scope.
This quickshot technique, while common among pros, often gets mistaken for cheating due to the response speed.
All my shots hit the enemy’s head, and they died, leaving their loot behind.
After looting, I found a sniper rifle and a submachine gun.
Honestly, headshotting with this handgun is faster, so I’ll pass on the submachine gun.
With this sniper rifle, a headshot is all it takes.
No one left in this area could stop me now.
The real challenge starts now.
I began walking towards the center.
I first learned about Yuka-chan from a forum site in my country.
Someone posted about their trip to Japan’s Comiket, and there she was in their photos.
The sight of her in a cat-eared hoodie struck me like lightning.
After researching Japanese sites, I learned she was a VTuber.
And that she’s actually a boy.
I also found other cosplays she wore.
Before I knew it, I became a fan.
This cute trap, Yuka Shirahime, stole my heart.
Not in a romantic way, just as a fan.
If possible, I’d love to talk to her someday.
Then I learned another piece of information.
A Japanese VTuber popular in my country, Glint of Schwartz, was her father.
I decided to apply for the live streamer recruitment by V-Live and Imananji, publicized on the net.
If I win this tournament and manage to join either company, then maybe…

go for it!
Fight on, guyss
Im rooting for mama yuru!
wait, isn’t knighthart there too? lol
We’re all gonna die…
Youre not wrong there lmao
only one survives, that’s for sure…
