Right now, I’m participating in a battle royale event on Yuka-chan’s stream.

Looking at the members in my block, I’m kinda shocked.

There are pro gamers and VTubers famous for their gaming skills.

In this event, two matches are held at the same time.
It seems the focus shifts occasionally to Yuka-chan’s perspective, so I’m determined to show off some cool moves whenever I get a chance on screen.

“Oh wow, facing pro gamers means I gotta stick to sneaking around, huhhh.”
I’m streaming too, so I can’t check Yuka-chan’s screen.
That’s why I gotta focus on my own game!

There are mainly four areas in this game the Industrial Area with high-quality but scarce gear, the vast Farmland Area with a balanced mix of gear, the Residential Area with less gear but less crowded, and the Solitary Island Area, a high-risk, high-reward gamble with random items.

Thinking I needed some gear before sneaking around, I decided to head to the Residential Area.

I’ll take it slow and plan my next move as I go.

As I parachute down to a house’s balcony in the Residential Area, I start searching the rooms.

I find a powerful handgun, a bulletproof vest, and a backpack.

“Not getting any healing items is kinda toughhh.”
I’m basically talking to myself since I can’t read the comments during the game, but that’s just how it is with these types of games, right? Mhm.

While looting nearby houses, I encounter someone who seems to have had the same idea.

Their movements weren’t great, maybe a newbie, so I took them down with a headshot from my handgun.
My win, but there are still 80 people left. This is going to be a long game.

The loot includes a submachine gun, some ammo, and three small healing items.
Better than nothing, but this isn’t enough to win in this game.

I need to find an assault rifle or a sniper rifle soon…

—Mama Yuru’s POV—

I recently started playing this game for today’s tournament.
Yura taught me the basics, and I’ve learned to survive by hiding.

I’ve played games occasionally, so I quickly got used to the controls, but my plan is to hoard healing items and stay alive as much as possible.

For that, I decided to drop into the unpredictable Solitary Island Area.

There’s a chance of finding lots of weapons and meds there.

When I check around while descending, I see a few others heading to the same area.

I need to grab items fast and get out.

I won’t stand a chance in a one-on-one shootout…

As I’m collecting items, I think I hear something.

“Ah.”
There’s a fully armed enemy right in front of me.

Luckily, I had a stun grenade in hand, so I threw it immediately.

Please work!
The enemy, sensing danger, starts shooting at me.

I take a few hits, but I’m still okay.

After the explosion, the enemy is stunned.

I quickly run outside and make a break for it.

The effect only lasts a few seconds, so I need to put as much distance as possible!

There’s a buggy outside, so I hop in and drive away.

Now that I have some meds, I head to the Residential Area to find a weapon.

If I had a shotgun back there, I could’ve taken down that enemy. The regret makes me even more eager to find a weapon.

70 people still alive. I need to keep hiding…

—???’s POV—

«The enemies are weaker than I thought.»
She had almost wiped out all the players within ten minutes.

Only a few left now.

Everyone watching her play screamed “cheater,” but she just read the comments and muttered to herself.

«Don’t they know there’s always someone better?
I’m a pro gamer, one of the best in the world.»

Her stream was full of comments saying she was unsportsmanlike.

«Can’t help it. I want to meet Yuka Shirahime. I can’t miss this chance.»

Then a Japanese listener came to her stream and started yelling about cheating.

Her skills are indeed incredible, but she can see everything – people’s shapes, shadows, every movement.

And then she said,

“Lacking practice! Try again!”

She replied in broken Japanese to the Japanese listener.

Yes, she’s an American who loves Japan.

“You’re hundred years too early to face great Emily!”

She…no, Emily said this while maneuvering her cute avatar.

I temporarily switch my account to an admin one for the tournament, so I can spectate.

I’m hopping around streams to catch the action.

Each match is set to a max of twenty minutes, so with two blocks and five rounds each, we have about a hundred minutes of prelims.
…That’s quite long.

When I go to check on Fuwa-chan, she gets taken out just then.

She was trying to move stealthily but got run over by someone in a car – a total accident.

It’s kind of sad, but that’s just how the game is…

I say this as I return to the lobby after watching the remaining blocks.

From people I know, Mama Yuru, Yura-oneechan, and Knighthart-san made it to the finals!

Mama Yuru survived by hiding, Yura-oneechan barely made the top ten by hiding and then fighting in the final shrink, and Knighthart-san surprisingly took first place!
There were quite a few strong players, but his calm strategies led him to victory!

{I’ll get ready too. The final block starts in ten minutes!}

After getting ready, I start the PSKG tournament’s final match.

The final round will definitely be on another level, but I should still enjoy it!
