After they were done dancing, the two of them ran down the stone steps, and Kishana still held onto Schenna’s hand as she pulled her to the entertainment facilities in the merchant district.
The merchant district was mostly filled with people already, but that part of it was mostly filled with adventurers.

“This is your first time coming here, right?”
“Yeah, it looks like a busy place. Almost like a festival.”
“One of the members of the Hero’s party, Will, runs the entire place.”
“Will… You mean that Will Herst?”

Will Herst was a well-known member of the Hero’s party, being both a famous swordsman and a popular character.
He was able to mow down groups of dozens of demons or cut through a dragon single-handedly. Normally, a story like his would be deemed fake, but there was nothing that seemed impossible for Will Herst from the Hero’s party.

“Entertainment facilities normally means a gambling den. I’ve always wanted to live without gambling, so I don’t know if this is a good place for me.”
“Well, it’s a bit…different. The reward for participating in the most popular event, the Colosseum, and winning in a top place is a hundred kilos of selected food and ingredients.”

Schenna was more or less able to guess why Kishana had brought her there.
It was so Schenna would take part in the Colosseum and receive those high-grade ingredients.
Schenna tried to gently refuse, but Kishana ignored her and prostrated herself in front of Schenna to beg.

“Please take part in it for those ingredients! God, Buddha, Schenna-sama!”
“Wha… Please don’t act like this in such a public place.”
“If you take part, I’ll strip for you today.”
“I won’t take part even if you strip. If I show up in such a big event like that, the kingdom of Hashel might find out about it. I don’t want to do something that could bring that sort of repercussions.”

If she did not do it well and her name was found out, the kingdom of Hashel might try to forcefully take her back.
If word spread out, a bad reputation would definitely fall on the Urablatt family.
Schenna was going to steel her mind and not participate.

“…Sorry. I didn’t think it would cause so much trouble for you and tried to force you.”
“I’m glad if you understand. And I’d rather stay together with you happily like this than get those high-grade ingredients.”

The eyes of the people around them started to focus on them. It would be really troublesome if rumors of a female knight harassing a dark elf were to spread.
Schenna helped Kishana stand back up, and was relieved that she seemed to understand.
When they were about to head out of that place, a rowdy looking adventurer forced himself between the two.

“Now now you two, if something’s up between you, should I try giving you some advice?”
“No thanks, we already solved it ourselves… Let’s go, Kishana.”

Schenna pulled at Kishana’s hand and tried to run from that place, but the rowdy adventurer stood in their way and did not let them escape.

“Come on now. Don’t you wanna go for a drink then? Though I wouldn’t mind if you want to go straight to bed.”

When they ignored his vulgar suggestions, he got enraged and pulled his sword out from his scabbard.
Schenna then punched straight into his solar plexus, and the sword that was about to be swung fell down from its owner’s hand.

“Do you still want to continue?”

With her fist still clenched, Schenna looked down at the rowdy adventurer, who started getting scared and finally ran away.
Kishana was standing a few steps back, worrying while watching Schenna and trembling in fear.

“It’s okay now, don’t worry. Let’s go.”
“…Yeah. Thanks for helping me-”

Schenna reached out for Kishana’s hand to help her calm down her trembling body.
Feeling bad for having caused such a scene, they headed out of that place. And when they were about to head out into the commercial district, a swordsman called out to them.
