Some dude named Zack Snyder or something is making “a faithful retelling of King Arthur’s tale” or something.
Honestly that has to be a joke right?
Faithful retelling? How?
Someone please direct me to the definitive edition of The Legend of King Arthur.
Honestly there’s so many contradictory versions thanks to Celtic and Christian and French influences.
Wait if it’s a faithful retelling do you think it’ll be a Fate movie?
Please stop trying to make movies about this!
There’s a very good youtube video about public domain movies!

I started a new manga today and ended up binge reading it.
I was expecting it to be a lot worse than it turned out to be.
Honestly I thought it was gonna be some generic globe trotting story with some fantasy elements and a bundle of tropes.
The end result actually gives really strong Last Exile vibes strangely.
It was a really good read, even if it did use a similar twist to Plunderer just in reverse. No idea which came first.
I actually look forward to how it develops.
I should really give other manga a shot sometimes, I think I fixate on novels a little too much because their stories progress faster.

I don’t think I wrote it here, but I did send it in at least one of the discords at the time of the last episode.
But if anyone is watching Log Horizon I have a theory as to how Shiroe is going to overcome the obstacle set out in front of him currently.
I’m really curious as to if I’m right but I think I likely am.
I won’t write it here because it might be spoilers for those who are behind or plan to watch long after this has gone live.
Anyway, basically it just has to do with the election rules and that final panning shot at the end of the last episode.
If you do want the theory then I sent it on a discord server somewhere…forgot which one. Not helpful I know.

After watching from the sidelines and laughing at the production disaster that is Ex-Arm I felt like it was only fair that I gave it a shot and actually read the manga source.
I was…mostly surprised.
It was different than I was expecting, the writing is a bit weird in places but I can see the appeal.
Some of the aspects are pretty amazing and do resonate with my interests but overall I think it’s mostly just above average.
I’ll probably keep reading it just to see how it turns out though.
Honestly the protagonists situation would be something like a dream to me though…mostly.
Obviously I’d have some personal objections over that early treatment.

I wasn’t sure what to write about for this one, I had a few ideas but none of them felt like I could manage a decent paragraph on.
So I decided it’d be fun to write about the light novels I’m reading at the moment.
I recently finished a binge to catch up on a couple of web novels and decided to give a couple of titles from J-Novel a shot after.
I decided to go with Failure Magician because it seemed like Fushi no Kami. Honestly, not impressed.
It’s rare for me to not like a J-Novel title in this way but the writing fell really flat and uninspiring, probably won’t purchase it.
The other was Other World Magic Is Too Far Behind, I read the web novel translation back in the day and seeing it was on catch up gave me the chance to well, catch up!
It’s about as I remember so I can’t wait to get to wherever it was that I left off.

It actually snowed where I live today!
It wasn’t exceptionally deep snow but enough for it to crunch under your feet, build a snowman and go sledding.
Of course, as an otaku NEET I did none of those and just admired the view from my window.
Though…my room is extremely cold!
One day I will find a way to balance the temperature of my room. Eventually. I hope.
Still I really didn’t think it would snow where I live due to my proximity to the sea which usually keeps the temperatures from fluctuating too excessively compared to the more inland areas.
Comparatively of course.

Okay now that I have finished my emergency scheduling I should be able to take a shower and eat something.
Also I need to remember to leave my games to update while I go…
And I need to do my daily quests on PriConne.
Should probably remember to log in to Genshin and FGO too but I doubt I will remember honestly, forgot all week so far.
The life of an otaku is busy.
