I also managed to translate a third of a chapter of Online Communication during this gap. I intended to pick up this series, since it only have 30-ish chapters. I want to actually finish the whole series before publishing them at sustained rate though, since I don’t want to have anything hanged over my head like Bishoujo ni Natta Kedo, Neto Game ni something something. I thought that that series will be touching, but the writer just have to paraphrase the same sentence thrice over and over, which feels like a major waste of time for me (you don’t see it, because I have removed any consecutive repetition), do you know how irritating it is to have translated 30 sentences, but then you end up with 14 sentences because you have just removed and combined sentences? Moreover, in the part I’m on, the author also writes vaguely, that I have to fill in the blanks myself (you also don’t see it, because I have committed to make it enjoyable to read, and so I have clarified any vague points, such as missing subject, missing object, fuzzy actions. Yeah, his verbs are really general).
That’s enough about MMO Junkie. that will have its own place in certain other announcement post. If I ever drop Online Communication midpoint, I will see if I can publish up to that chapter if that time comes.
By the way, I intend on continuing this one until the final chapter, although it is coming slowly. I have finished translating until chapter 20 (8 chapters ahead), but I still need to comb through it for proofreading and fixing mistranslation, so you will have to wait for that.
That’s all update from me now, happy reading!
