Readers, today, I would like to announce the fan art contest that I will be holding for Very Pure and Ambiguous – The Prequel. Ideally, I would have liked to do it to commemorate us finishing Volume 1, and moving onto Volume 2, but alas, the timing was just a bit off.

Rules

• The piece of artwork must be original (i.e. no plagiarizing or just stealing something off a search engine)
• Submission must be related to Very Pure and Ambiguous – The Prequel.
• Artists may submit as many pieces of artwork as they please.
• Any medium of artwork is accepted, be it digital art or hand drawn etc.
• Submissions must be in an image format to sent to [email protected] (i.e. .jpg, .jepg, .png etc.)
• Submission time frame: January 4th 2017 to February 4th 2017 (GMT+8)

Prizes

• 1st place: 5 chapters in advance for Very Pure and Ambiguous – The Prequel, you may freely claim your prize within 2 months of the announcement of the results
• 2nd place: 3 chapters in advance for Very Pure and Ambiguous – The Prequel, you may freely claim your prize within 2 months of the announcement of the results
• 3rd place: 1 chapter in advance for Very Pure and Ambiguous – The Prequel. you may freely claim your prize within 2 months of the announcement of the results
• All participants will be given the chance to introduce yourselves to the rest of the community, be it through a short intro, a link to their website/deviantart etc.

I do hope I can get a few submissions for this. I know 5 is an ambitious number, but I do cross my fingers and hope I receive at least that.

Now to round off the post and hopefully encourage you guys to draw/create a piece of artwork, here’s an example done by yours truly. It’s just a rough sketch I did a while ago for Zhao Yanyan for fun, please don’t make fun of me.
