This outfit was a mostly all-black dress, reminiscent of gothic lolita fashion.
I had expected the dress to be cumbersome due to the many adornments, but surprisingly, it allowed for easy movement.
A gem-like decoration adorned my chest—perhaps some sort of magic core?

If so, this could be considered a sorceric item specifically designed for ease of mobility.
I’m sure this is expensive… Maybe not as much as a magic pouch, though. Despite it’s appearance, it seems to be designed for hunter activities.

I have black eyes and hair; however, since my appearance is based on Ciel’s, I don’t possess Japanese facial features.
And because of Ciel’s features, the dress simply looks good on me.
However, due to my previous world memories, I can’t help but see it as a sort of mourning dress.

『You’re so pretty, Ain; you’re so cool!』
『Thank you.』

It’s rare for Ciel to call me cool, but it’s probably that—not the masculine kind of cool, but a feminine kind.
Not that I still care about gender at this point.

Even with Ciel’s praise, I can’t shake off the mourning dress impression. Maybe it’s because of my black eyes and hair?
It comes with a hat, which is also black. Since there’s no space left on top of my head, I put the hair ornament I got from Ciel and the spirits’ stopover on the hat.
The black color makes them stand out, so I’m personally happy about that.

The mourning dress look aside, a parasol should pair greatly with this outfit.

The last one Shusii brought was an extremely hunter-like outfit.
It consisted of a thick one-piece dress and shorts as bottom wear, a leather chest protector, and a robe to wear over everything.
Coupled with Ciel’s apparent age, I look just like a novice hunter.

No, with Ciel’s looks, I might look more like some noble daughter who registered as a hunter for fun.

In other words, it’s not much different from before. However, since this outfit is of better quality, it might give off a more noble lady feel now.
For this attire, Ciel probably intends to use it as casual wear.

『Ciel, these are clothes for you to wear, right?』
『Right, these are clothes I’m also going to wear.』
『In that case, why don’t we switch out now?』
『Aw, too bad. I wanted to see you for a bit longer.』
『We should really bring that to the Hunter Guild soon, you see.』

As we switched, Ciel glanced at the man—now bound with rope and other restraints instead of briars—and『Right.』replied affirmatively.
He’s still in the same room as us, only gagged and blindfolded, so I’m sure he can hear us making noise.
The man must be absolutely confused about what he’s hearing right now, but it doesn’t matter. He brought this upon himself.

「How is it, Lady Cielmer?」
「I’ll buy everything.」

With that casual exchange, Ciel deposited all the clothes inside our magic pouch.
After that, she and Shusii headed to the Hunter Guild with the man in tow.

「I see, so such an incident occurred…」

Dragging the man to the Hunter Guild, we called for Rhavelt—since that should settle things quickly—and explained the situation.
Shusii looks pretty uncomfortable, though. I suppose that’s only natural, as she suddenly had to meet with the guild’s head.

「We once again caused you trouble.」

From how he says ‘we’, Rhavelt seems to have a proper understanding of Mother’s thought process.
Their relationship is that of a landlord and her freeloaders. Proper understanding of this may seem easy, but on a nationwide scale, that might be harder than it sounds.

「Don’t mind it. So?」
「We will immediately assemble the high officials and decide the settlement.
All assets will be confiscated and divided between Lady Cielmer and Shusii Shagal Messi. Will that be acceptable?」
『We don’t really need the money, though… Would it be better to accept this?』

Suddenly questioned by Ciel, I wracked my brains for an answer.
When we reported the incident, Ciel demanded that we never see him again, but she didn’t mention anything about money.
We actually don’t need the money. However, there’s likely a reason why he wants us to take it.

For example, as to avoid being indebted to Ciel?

If we accept the money here, then that resolves this incident. If we don’t, then the freeloaders will feel like they owe Ciel a favor.
Even if Ciel doesn’t see it that way, the others may feel that way on their own. In short, it’s for their peace of mind.

『If you want to avoid nuisances, it would be best to accept.』
『Then I suppose I’ll do that.』
「It’s fine.」
「Then it will be arranged as such.」
『You should also warn him not to get the wrong idea.』
「But don’t get the wrong idea.」
「… I will keep that in mind.」

As Ciel reflexively repeated my words, Rhavelt nodded with a solemn look.
I suppose it’s safe to assume that he took the hint?
Not that it’s an issue if he doesn’t.

「After that?」
「He will spend this lifetime in the dungeons.」

Oh, not an exile? Mother tends to default to exiling people, so I was expecting them to follow that trend.
Maybe it’s so that they can realistically fulfill our demand of never crossing paths with him again?
Being exiled with nothing to your name practically means death in the wild or monster predation. However, it does leave the possibility of him surviving to live in a different country.

And that would result in a slim chance of us seeing him again in a new land.

「Shusii, is that fine?」
「Y-Yes. It’s fin-, wait, um… I wholly agree.」

When Ciel asked Shusii, who hadn’t been participating in the conversation, she nodded in a weirdly panicked manner.
Part of it might be because of Rhavelt’s presence, but maybe she’s simply not used to formal speech with Ciel.

Just as I expected that to be the end of the conversation,「It’s terrible! A freakishly strong golden monster appeared in the den!」a loud yell echoed from the guild’s entrance.

And so our princesses find their long awaited prey!

For starters, gothic lolita Ain, lol. Enough said. And for the last set of clothes, the newbie adventurer set! Just a non-ragged version of their old clothes, if we’re to assume. Also, the fact that the man who attacked the other chapter is just… tied-up on the floor, blindfolded, overhearing the scene is frankly funny. Imagine the confusion. After that, we actually reached the guild quickly. Ain expecting exile due to the mass exile and the repeated mention of kicking out the freeloaders by Fii was funny. “Oh, it’s not an actual law to exile people for committing crimes? Okay…” And so we go back to the golden monster! Battle is imminent! And maybe even a dance!

Now then, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please feel free to comment. Stay healthy, stay safe, and have a nice day~!
