“Mmph!”

Under the drug’s influence, Nancy was caught off guard as Sherry suddenly tackled her onto the back seat of the police car.

“Ugh… Mmm…!”

Because everything happened so quickly, by the time Nancy realized what was going on, Sherry had easily pried open her clenched teeth and boldly invaded her territory.

Nancy tried to push the girl off her, but due to the cramped space and awkward position, she found herself unable to summon enough strength. So, she looked to the front seats where Charlie and Su Xiaoyu were, only to realize that they seemed oblivious to what was happening in the back!

“Ugh…!?” Feeling a chill beneath her, Nancy sensed Sherry’s hand wandering over her abdomen. Unable to do much, Nancy resorted to violently banging her head against the left window, creating a loud noise that finally caught Su Xiaoyu’s curious attention.

“What the hell!” Su Xiaoyu had initially wondered what the two were doing in the back seat to cause such a commotion. But when he looked, he was in for a surprise—a bright lily had bloomed right before his eyes?!

“Nancy?” Seeing the scene in the back seat, Charlie immediately thought of the pills. With a sudden brake, the powerful force threw the semi-conscious Sherry off balance, and Nancy managed to pin her down with a quick maneuver.

“Su Xiaoyu, stop gawking! My… my bag, the bottle of pills Samuel gave me!” Nancy turned around and saw Su Xiaoyu still gaping in shock. She gritted her teeth and shouted in a low voice. Su Xiaoyu finally snapped out of it and quickly turned around to find the bag Nancy had placed here after getting into the car.

After grabbing the handgun, Su Xiaoyu finally found the bottle of pills Samuel had given Nancy on the second attempt. Then, beside the driver’s seat, he found an unopened bottle of mineral water. He hastily unscrewed the cap and handed it to Nancy in the back seat.

“Damn it…”

Taking the pills, Nancy flipped it over and saw “Antidote” written on the bottom of the bottle. Although it didn’t specify what it was for, considering the situation at the time and Samuel’s expression when he handed her the bottle, Nancy knew for sure it was the antidote for whatever drug Sherry was under.

After realizing this, Nancy immediately reached to pry open Sherry’s mouth. However, the latter, with a mouthful of saliva, bit down on her finger, licking it.

With a wry smile, Nancy withdrew the saliva-coated index finger and tried other forms of contact. But she was either pushed away by Sherry or being hugged tightly. Nancy realized she couldn’t get Sherry to take the antidote peacefully.

“…There’s no other way.” Nancy looked at the flushed girl before her and, gritting her teeth, made a decision.

After all, she had already lost her first kiss, so what did it matter if she lost it again?

Nancy opened the medicine bottle, took out three pills as instructed, and stuffed them into her mouth. But in that moment, Nancy wished she could spit out the bitter contents—the medicine was unbearably bitter!

But she endured it, taking a big gulp of mineral water mixed with the pills in her mouth. Then, Nancy reached out, pulled Sherry into her embrace, and quickly leaned down, closing her eyes to find that soft touch—this time, it was her turn to pry open Sherry’s clenched teeth, lightly stirring her tongue as the three still undissolved pills mixed with saliva and mineral water entered Sherry’s mouth.

“Ugh… Cough, cough!” Sherry, in her hazy state, couldn’t tolerate the bitterness of the pills. As soon as they entered her mouth, she began to cough violently. But it was this instinctive reaction that allowed her to successfully swallow the pills.

This scene left Su Xiaoyu dumbfounded, and even Charlie was momentarily stunned. However, as Nancy’s cold gaze fell upon them, both quickly regained their composure. Su Xiaoyu pretended not to have seen anything and started whistling casually, while Charlie restarted the car.

No matter how good the medicine was, it couldn’t take effect immediately. After swallowing the pills, the effects of the drugs on Sherry didn’t immediately diminish. However, already disoriented by the medication, Sherry began to strip off her outer clothes. After Nancy stopped her, she began scratching her arms vigorously. In a matter of seconds, she had left several bloody scratches on her arms.

Nancy had no choice but to pull Sherry back into her embrace. For some reason, after nestling against Nancy’s chest, Sherry immediately calmed down. However, her hands still couldn’t resist wandering over Nancy’s body…

In this awkward situation, twenty minutes later, Charlie’s police car finally stopped in front of Nancy’s house.

“We’re here, Nancy,” Charlie turned around and said. However, when he saw Sherry, who had already nestled into Nancy’s embrace and fallen asleep, it was evident that the antidote had taken effect. But when he glanced at Nancy, Charlie noticed her disheveled clothes. Upon closer inspection, he could even see some exposed fair skin. He immediately turned away, adopting a “don’t look if it’s not proper” attitude.

He even casually turned Su Xiaoyu’s head who had turned with him.

Su Xiaoyu: ???

“No need, you go back with Uncle Charlie. I can manage on my own,” Nancy said, shaking her head.

Su Xiaoyu had no choice but to follow Nancy’s gaze and hang the bag around her neck. Finally, he helped Nancy open the rolling gate of her house and watched her slowly assist Sherry upstairs.

“Now that she’s gone, why are you still looking?”

Hearing the voice, Su Xiaoyu quickly turned around with an embarrassed smile, only to see that Charlie had also risen from the driver’s seat at some point, with an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth.

“Officer Charlie…”

“Alright, I have to take my colleagues from the Supernatural Abilities Division back to organize this operation. We’ll continue investigating the mansion tomorrow. Remember to come to the police station to find me.” Without waiting for Su Xiaoyu to speak, Charlie interrupted him.
