Kirsten felt like she was becoming more and more impressed with Mirabelle. Not only did Mirabelle know how to make special arrows, she even knew how to create a barrier.

“Hey hey, Mirabelle, just who did you learn all this from? It seems like they have a lot of magical knowledge. Hey hey, just who is it?”

“Ah… ahh, that person really was incredible. They’re the first elf who traveled around the entire continent, so isn’t it quite normal that they would know so much magical knowledge?”

Mirabelle stuttered as she replied to Kirsten because she was really bad at lying.

However, even if Mirabelle told Kirsten that ‘I’ve known all these things since before I was even born because I’m from another world,’ she figured that Kirsten likely wouldn’t believe her. Thus, Mirabelle could only put the blame on a “mysterious person X.”

Additionally, she based the mysterious person on herself as Nikaidou Yuuki.

“Travel across the entire continent…? I want to be like them as well, going to all sorts of places in this world and experiencing various things while seeing all kinds of scenery. That was the only wish that my miner father had. Unfortunately, he died before he could achieve his wish…”

“Rest assured, I’ll definitely achieve your wish…”

Mirabelle saw that Kirsten’s eyes contained deep sadness and loneliness. She went over to grab Kirsten by the wrist as she couldn’t help but say that to Kirsten.

“Eh? Mirabelle…”
“I will go traveling with you to see this world. Isn’t that a promise between us?”
“Mirabelle… “

Kirsten’s tone was incredibly moved as she called out Mirabelle’s name. She then tilted her head as she asked Mirabelle in a questioning tone, “Huh? Have we… made such a promise?”

Mirabelle instantly felt like sweating as she helplessly explained to Kirsten, “Even if we didn’t make such a promise, you shouldn’t say that out loud at such a time. You ruined the atmosphere that was so difficult to achieve…”

“Hahaha, sorry, sorry. It’s fine even if we didn’t make such a promise. The two of us simply have to make that promise right here and now…”

Mirabelle curiously asked her a question in return. Kirsten naturally responded with a nod.

Kirsten had an impatient expression when she saw Mirabelle asking for every little reason, so she directly grabbed Mirabelle’s head and forced the latter to come into contact with Kirsten’s head.

Mirabelle looked at the girl with a cute appearance right in front of her.

Kirsten Raphael currently had her eyes tightly closed. She appeared completely defenseless.

It seemed like she was praying for something.

So this was the way by which elves made a promise with each other?

Mirabelle imitated Kirsten and closed her eyes without being on guard at all.

Kirsten secretly opened her eyes and kissed Mirabelle on the cheek.

“Okay, the promise has been made now…”
“That just now was…?”
“A reward for a hero, my hero Mirabelle Brillana…”

Kirsten smiled and explained while Mirabelle blankly looked at her smile with a red face.

After that, the two of them continued like normal. They had dinner and then went to bed and slept.

The next day, Mirabelle was standing at the exit to the cave passageway. She was standing in a daze where she was and recalling what happened last night while Kirsten was getting the explosive arrows left back home.

“Mirabelle, stop daydreaming. Didn’t you want to go find a certain magical beast to destroy? I can take you there since you only have a map but aren’t familiar with the species…”
“Ah… is… is that so? Can you really find an ogre’s cave?”
“Er… ogres are A-rank magical beasts. Although I don’t recommend that you go, I can at least take you to go take a look at the place.”
“Rest assured, these magical beasts mostly live in caves. Normally, they live together in groups and share their prey just like goblins do. I think that they probably captured the missing elves?”

Mirabelle used her knowledge about these magical beasts to talk about how they lived here.

Mirabelle continued to explain to Kirsten.

Her personal store contained a large number of items that would only be unlocked when she reached a higher level, so what she could buy with these gold coins right now was extremely limited.

Her goal was a bow, a longbow that cost 100 gold coins.

Mirabelle’s store only sold knowledge, not items.

As for how to actually make the bow? Even Mirabelle didn’t know despite being the designer. This was because a game would be different from reality.

When she was sitting at a computer, she only needed to put the materials required in a certain spot on the interface to create what she wanted.

But now that it was all real life, she wouldn’t be able to make a weapon no matter what unless she had the knowledge on how to create it.

Although Mirabelle felt somewhat aggrieved, she really needed the knowledge being sold in her store.

“Mirabelle, we’re here…”

Kirsten and Mirabelle were both hiding in some bushes near the trees.

Falling rocks blocked the entire cave entrance.

The ogres didn’t know what just happened. When they ran out to check what was going on, they discovered that their cave entrance had been sealed by fallen rocks.

However, the cave entrance was only large enough for two ogres to enter or exit at a time. Thus, two ogres came over to push away the rubble right as Mirabelle and Kirsten simultaneously shot explosive arrows again.

The explosive arrows pierced the ogres’ skin and instantly exploded them.

Indeed, Mirabelle’s method was to take advantage of the stun crowd control.

Basically, it was a system where magical beasts would fall over or stagger when they were hit by an attack.

Mirabelle was the only person in the world who knew of this system.

Mirabelle sealed the cave entrance because the ogres were a type of magical beast without any intelligence. The ogres would only know to use this one entrance. They weren’t like humans who would know to create a backdoor to escape.

Thus, it was really easy for Mirabelle to trap the ogres inside.

The ogres would need time to come over and push away the rubble. This was the timing that Mirabelle needed to stun them.

The stun crowd control effect caused by an explosion’s damage would be more effective than the stun effect from an ordinary paralysis arrow. This was an experience that Mirabelle had gained from hunting the Hell Melgash.

The stun effect wasn’t a visible effect outside the computer, since the RPG had been a turn-based game. Well, Mirabelle considered that part of the fun of an RPG.

After remembering this, she prepared a large number of explosive arrows. She and Kirsten both had about 100 explosive arrows each. Each explosive arrow would cause an average of 500 damage. It was more than enough for each of them to kill five ogres.

“No wonder you started preparing explosive arrows one week ago. You probably started planning this when you drew the map?”

Mirabelle had just excitedly picked up an arrow while smiling cutely.

This smile caused Kirsten to immediately retract her earlier words.

As the two of them hunted the ogres, they even flirted with each other.

Mirabelle and Kirsten emerged from the bushes and looked at the inside of the cave through the now completely tattered entrance.

The cave was now filled with ogre corpses.

Mirabelle inspected them with her analysis ability. Their HP had definitely gone down to zero already.

“They’re all dead already. However, I didn’t expect that there were actually so much fewer than we imagined…”

Kirsten still had 20 explosive arrows remaining, while Mirabelle still had 18.

No, during the day, ogres would send part of their tribe to go searching for food outside the cave. Those ogres were probably still alive!

Mirabelle immediately grabbed Kirsten’s wrist and wanted to drag her away and run.

However, before they could escape, two gigantic ogres blocked their path.

The ogres waved gigantic cudgels as they stopped right on the road that the two needed to take in order to go back.
