Hearing the familiar chime, Yaeger cocked her head in puzzlement. “Why is the Sister System notifying me now? I haven’t done anything significant today.” Her question was quickly answered.

Upon hearing this, Yaeger knew at once that she had completed Alicia’s mission. ‘Excellent rewards, but why was the first phase delayed?’ she pondered. She vividly remembered that the objective of the first phase was to boost her strength. Normally, the system would have distributed the rewards as soon as she reached Level 30.

Yet here she was, receiving the first and second phase rewards simultaneously. It was unexpected but, upon reflection, she found it logical. Given that Jade City’s current level cap was 30, the system had its own criteria to determine whether a Level 30 player was sufficiently powerful to meet the mission’s requirements.

As Yaeger mulled over the situation, the system notification chimed again.

“Is there more?” she wondered aloud.

“Question marks again?” Experiencing a surge in Alicia’s Favorability left Yaeger’s eyelids twitching. It was more than just excessive favor; it was outright lavish. She had the freedom to do anything she wanted, and yet, there was a hitch.

“Ugh! Why isn’t there a potion or something in the event store to reverse my transformation?” Yaeger grumbled to herself, not really expecting a solution. After all, her [Dream Transformation] was a prize from the [Saint Demon Roulette]. It would be odd for a mere event store item to negate such a boon.

“And even more?” Yaeger was genuinely stunned.

Observing Yaeger halt mid-conversation to talk to herself, Little Fairy was about to interject when Yunuen discreetly held her back. “[Princess] is conversing with the system,” Yunuen whispered.

A flash of surprise crossed Little Fairy’s face. “She can actually interact with the system? What kind of special privilege is that?”

“Hehe, isn’t it cool? Our [Princess] is the best player in the world; of course, she has such advantages!” Yunuen boasted, despite not actually knowing the reason for this ability.

By this point, Yunuen had become somewhat desensitized to Yaeger’s astonishing feats. Little Fairy, however, was like a newcomer to the big city—overwhelmed and amazed by everything she encountered.

“I knew [Princess] was impressive, but not to this degree,” she softly sighed, feeling her past ignorance keenly. “I should have expressed overwhelming gratitude when offered the chance to join.”

While Little Fairy was enveloped in awe and shock, Yaeger felt disoriented. “Strange. Why the pause after the last chime?”

Simultaneously, in a dimension consumed by a tempestuous storm, 40 ripe fruits from an enigmatic orchard vanished without a trace. Someone observed this bizarre event but chose to stay silent, gripped by fear.

“Is it…gone?” he cautiously whispered after ten seconds.

Another ten seconds passed in silence.

“Hmph, what an irksome thief. Next time I encounter them, I’ll eviscerate them and strangle them with their own intestines!” he muttered furiously.

Boom! In that instant, the skies roared with purple electricity, saturating the atmosphere.

“Spare me…Gaaaaaah!” An agonized cry echoed, filling the charged air.

The system announced the extra goodies.

“Wow, that’s fantastic!” Yaeger beamed, her face lighting up upon hearing the announcement. She hadn’t anticipated bonus rewards. And she was familiar with these fruits; they were potent boosts to Basic Attributes.

After a short pause, the system notifications ceased. “Is that all?” Yaeger found herself a tad disappointed but shook it off. “Well, these rewards are more than sufficient.”

Alicia’s quest was divided into three phases, and the loot from the first two had already been staggering. This made Yaeger eager for what the final phase might offer. Once Alicia ascended to the throne, not only would she gain noble status, but she also might have the opportunity to spin the [Saint Demon Roulette] again.

The cure had to come from the cause; only the [Saint Demon Roulette], which had instigated her [Dream Transformation], could potentially reverse it. However, the [Chaos Roulette] also held some promise—if it didn’t swindle her, that is. But given her past experiences, getting scammed was the more likely outcome.

“Come on, Alicia, regain your power quickly,” she muttered, feeling that Alicia was her last resort for reverting to her male form.

“The final phase’s rewards had better be worth it,” she murmured as she accessed her Item Box and selected the newly acquired Epic Random Equipment Crate.

“Ah, if only it could be a spatial ring,” she sighed. Conventional equipment wouldn’t satisfy her needs. The Epic crate held her attention merely as a lottery ticket for the trinket she coveted—a spatial ring like the one Alicia possessed, for instance.

When the Epic crate materialized before them, Yunuen and Little Fairy were struck with awe. ‘As expected of [Princess], she can effortlessly acquire what others can only fantasize about,’ they pondered silently, exchanging approving glances. If not for their alliance with [Princess], they’d likely be indistinguishable from the throngs of average players, oblivious to the feeling of owning Epic gear.

With a crackling sound, the Epic Random Equipment Crate parted its lid, awash in a shimmering purple aura. Little Blue remained stoically unimpressed, seemingly unfazed by the unfolding spectacle.

As the purple glow gradually receded, all eyes were drawn to a lavish purple ring suspended in the air. Extending her hand, Yaeger delicately tapped the ring, instantly unveiling its attributes.
