The interior of the food stall was quiet.

Yaeger remained still like a statue. With an emotionless face, she seemed to be pondering about something or daydreaming.

By now, she was the only person inside the establishment, as if she booked the whole place.

Although there wouldn’t be many guests at this time period, it shouldn’t be deserted.

Obviously, it was because of a special reason.

For instance, the scourge of the Empire was sitting here. So, nobody dared to enter.

“I don’t understand.” Suddenly, the beautiful scourge said.
“I don’t understand at all…” She bit her plump lips and heaved a sigh. “Forget it, let’s not bother about those Gods for now. I need to inform Rakshasa.”

Then, Yeager sent Rakshasa a message.

The latter became overjoyed, but was deeply confused after reading the message.

‘Be careful of anything related to [God]… What does this mean?’

Rakshasa: Princess, why should I be careful of anything related to [God]?
Yaeger: I can’t explain, just listen to me.
Rakshasa: Yes, got it!

Listening to her was always the right decision.

She had unconditional trust in Yaeger.

After some idle chatter, Yaeger ended the conversation using an excuse.

“By the way. When did the Eternal Race enter this world?”

Yaeger was suddenly reminded of this question after turning off the game interface.

Alicia told her that Gods and Demons disappeared during the later stages of the Mythic Era.

If the Celestial Race only entered the Saint Demon World during the later stages, then it meant that they weren’t bound by any sort of rules…

Thinking of that, Yaeger instantly shuddered as chills traveled down her spine.

‘Back then, if it wasn’t for the fact that the Celestial Island was far away and supreme existence within the Celestial Race failed to detect me, I’ll definitely be kidnapped. If that happened, I’d be in a terrible predicament.’

She was the chosen child of heaven and the will of the world itself. Yet, she might not be the chosen child of the Celestial Race.

The moment she entered the turf, it was possible that she would be locked up and be ‘pampered’ in different ways.

Such a thing would happen because the Celestial Race was the true outsiders.

The natural laws in this place were definitely different when compared to the ones in their original home. She had no idea if her identity as the Princess of Fate would ever work.

‘No. If the Celestial Race wasn’t bound by some regulations, they wouldn’t appear in this world this late. There should be something binding them.’

The Celestial Race was a race that would only appear during the later stages of the game. Yaeger had seen them several times. One of which was when she got instantly killed by the afterwave of the Sword Saint’s attack.

“As an outsider, the Celestial Race is definitely aggressive. They’re very strong as well. Based on the data in the system, they are definitely one of the strongest races. The supreme existence in the Celestial Race is probably comparable to a high-tier God… If I got captured by someone on that level, I can’t even imagine!”

Once they searched her soul or probed her mind, Yaeger’s secrets would be exposed.

“So close, so close. Thank goodness those beings on the Celestial Island failed to detect me.” She patted her soft and bouncy chest, and congratulated herself on her good luck.

Of course, going to the Celestial Island would probably grant her great opportunities. Yet, it was simply too risky.

Risky enough that Yaeger couldn’t afford to lose.

“Unlike Nangong and the rest, the Celestial Race had unknown origins. Bloodline quests might not work on them.

In other words, I’ll probably be treated poorly and even be in danger if I go to the Celestial Island.”

Benefits were very important to her.

However, when she had to choose either benefits or her own life, she would naturally choose self-preservation.

“I have 2 Artifacts right now, and my Bloodline is powerful. I’ll become very powerful once I survive until the later stages. I’ll never shoot myself in the foot by going to Celestial Island.”

She combined facts about [Rise of The Undead], information that she learned from Alicia, and her own assumptions.

With that, Yaeger noticed something unusual.

“Gods and Demons disappeared during the later stages of the Mythic Era. When the game started, the Demon Race reappeared and the Eternal Race descended.

Something great and unthinkable must’ve happened during the middle of all this.”

Unfortunately, the time gap between any recorded information was too immense. She couldn’t figure anything out with the information at hand.

Shaking her head, Yaeger decided to stop thinking about these things. Tonight, she would open the maze along with Alicia. That was their greatest priority right now.

All those Gods and Demons, the Demon Race and Eternal Race were all meaningless. They wouldn’t affect them for the time being.

Leaving the food stall, Yeager returned to Layna’s Item Shop. A pungent scent of medicine lingered indoors.

Yunuen and Layna moved quickly in the workshop, they refined medicine at near identical pace.

Both looked pale and tired. Yet, their hands still followed the steps without fail and dumped material into containers, and refining them into medicine.

Because they were too focused, they didn’t even notice someone else had come.

“You’re really addicted to refining medicine. It might be a good thing, but don’t exhaust yourself too much.”

A beautiful voice was suddenly heard.

Yunuen and Layna’s ears twitched at the same time. They obviously knew who was behind those words.

“[Princess]!”
“You’re back.”

Aside from that beautiful, dazzling, well-liked [Princess], who else would make them stop, be relieved of all fatigue, and smile radiantly?

“How’s your progress?” Yaeger asked.

“The demand for potions has soared recently. We can barely catch up.” Layna exhaled lightly and smiled.

“Princess, I did it!” Yunuen skipped over with a radiant smile on her face, which was as beautiful as a blooming flower.

Yaeger stroked her head and praised, “yes. Not bad. I’m happy that you improved.”

“Hehe!” Hearing that, Yunuen was instantly overjoyed as happiness filled her heart.

It was always awesome to be praised by someone she cared about. All the effort she invested wasn’t wasted at all.

“Here’s the reward.” Yaeger took out an Epic Random Equipment Crate. With the point of a finger, the crate floated towards Yunuen.

“This… This is too much!” She clearly knew how rare and expensive Epic Equipment were.

“Just take it. You deserve this reward.” Yaeger smiled.

She only decided to give Yunuen and Epic Random Equipment Crate after some consideration, not out of impulse.

“We’ll be going to a very dangerous place tomorrow. It won’t work if you’re too weak. Of course, you can choose not to go. Then I’ll take the crate back.”

The Imperial capital’s underground maze had to remain closed for many years. She felt a little uneasy if only she and Alicia went there.

By bringing Yunuen, she had a chance of attaining some benefits, and also to serve as insurance.

After all, both Alicia and her were more-or-less melee fighters. It would be troublesome if they were faced with enemies who utilized abnormal status effects.

At the same time, it was also dangerous.

With Yunuen around, it would obviously make the expedition easier and safer.

“I’m going! Please take me with you!” Yunuen spoke without hesitation and in deep determination.

“Sure, that’s good.” Yaeger felt relieved after seeing her expression.
“Open it and take a look.”
“Yep!”

Just as Yunuen was about to open the crate, a new message appeared in Yaeger’s mailbox.

Opening it, it was a message from her sister.

Mylene: Sister, are you busy? If you’re available, then let’s meet offline.

“Yunuen, Layna, I’ve got something to deal with. See you later.”

Yaeger then left the workshop and went offline in the guest room.

‘Mylene seems like she needs something from me. But when I look at the message, it doesn’t seem like it’s anything important…’

In her eyes, Mylene was an obedient and understanding little sister who would never bother her without a good reason.

White light dissipated.

In a certain room inside Jade Flower Garden.

The moment she opened her eyes, Yaeger bounced up to her feet. With a solemn expression, she released aura and instantly became combat-ready.

Unusual clicking sounds could now be heard coming from the room’s door.
