“Woof, it took us a bit longer.”

Around 10 minutes after I had called them, Shuu and Rir arrived.
Don’t tell me they really were doing the unspeakable in the middle of the day? Maybe they hurriedly put on some clothes after getting messaged by me. In that case, I need to apologize to them.

There had been two instances where we were contacted due to King Rama (though he was the caller on only one of those occasions) when Mika and I were just getting in the mood. I knew exactly how unpleasant this felt.

“Sorry, I did contact you while you were in the middle of something delicate, didn’t I?”
“Y-You ain’t! It absolutely wasn’t what you think. We were just a bit tied up, so it took some time for us to come here.”

Shuu’s overly panicked reaction told me everything.
…Seriously. Rir is also averting her eyes. Oh, whatever. I choose to believe what my best friend told me.

“Gotcha! Then, could you bring out the equipment you’d like me to strengthen?”
“It’s just Lævateinn for me.”
“Woof, I have this bracelet…”

Both held out one legend grade item each.

“Are you fine with how your red hood is currently, Rir? Just adding some enchantments would make a huge difference.”
“I got it from Shuu and want to treasure it, so I’m not wearing it during fights… But if you have cards that keep it from degrading and getting dirty, I’d like those.”
“Alright, here you go.” I handed her several magic cards.
“Woof, thank you, Alim.”

What I would make for them were improved versions of Lævateinn and the bracelet that looked closer to a chain, plus an axe with similar abilities to the aforementioned sword.

“Can we go back, then?” Shuu asked.
“Sure, come get your stuff in the evening.”
“Right!”
“Woof, see you!”

They happily went back to their room.
Maybe it was a mistake to call them during daytime, after all… oh, well.

“Ayumu, you’ll lock yourself into your workroom, right? Before you do that, give me a hug and kiss me.”
“Of course.”

I pressed a kiss on her lips while embracing her. After spending a few minutes like that, I entered my workshop.

I was done. Everything was finished.
If I may say so myself, my ability to focus is frightening.

The equipment I crafted and strengthened this time turned out as follows. First, Sakura’s sword, which could attack by itself:

Next was the necklace that served as proof of Kanata’s affection:

Then came Kanata’s bracelet. The one that could multiply. Strangely enough, my attempt to raise said multiplication limit from 8 to 100 ended in failure. It could happen.

I’d go over my brother’s new weapon at the end, so next was Rir’s chain-like bracelet. Well, it was only in appearance now, it was no longer different from a normal bracelet. Having it clamped around your arm looked painful.

Then there was Shuu’s prided weapon, Lævateinn. It had been powerful from the beginning. To be honest, I was considering adding similar abilities to my own sword.

Next was Rir’s axe, which had practically the same abilities. I merely changed the elemental attributes to what I assumed was her specialty. Only, it ended up looking eerie.
Well, more cool than eerie, but having a girl use it felt a bit… you get what I mean. Oh, whatever.

Then there was Kanata’s eyepatch. To that, I had only added the usual “Feels moderately light”, “Indestructible”, “Constantly maintains the best condition”, and the 10 times boost to all stats. It still had all its original enchantments.

Finally, I was holding Kanata’s weapon. To be honest, it was the one I was most proud of. I gave it the best abilities of my and Shuu’s swords.

Well, that was about it. It also looked perfect, my chuuni brother would be completely satisfied for sure.

I was finished checking the equipment. Once I delivered it, it would be over.
Oh, it’s been forever since I had so much fun crafting.

TL notes:
Wow, it’s been such a long time since we had any equipment stats in this series (the last one should have been in chapter 309), and now there are seven of them at once! Ironically, while more than half of this chapter was just copy-pasting from other chapters, it still took forever since I always had to make sure there either were no changes or implement said changes in my version. Plus all the usual errors the author made, as you can see with the plethora of footnotes.

Also, this stuff is OP as hell (compare it to the versions in chapter 302 and 309 if you’re curious). Here’s hoping that for the next evil god, everyone will contribute, and it won’t just be Alim stealing the show.

1. This is “Spell Necklace” in the original. Everything else is “divine”, so I assume that’s an error.
2. “Necklace” in the original. Likely copy-pasted from above and then not changed to “bracelet”.
3. This is “various kinds of magic beast materials” in the original. I used the version from earlier to keep things consistent. The same change was made for all following instances of this descriptor.
4. The original is 英雄 (“hero”). I used “champion” to differentiate from the Hero’s Sword since different words are use in Japanese (勇者 for the latter).
5. Sharpness in the original. Likely an error since it earlier increases specifically piercing and not sharpness.
6. Not sure about this part. The original is 刺突して部位より、魔法を放ちやすくなる。 (“makes shooting magic easier than piercing and slicing”). It’s possible there’s a typo and it’s supposed to make all three aspects easier.
