After pushing the treasure chest switch, the ceiling opened, and the winding spiral descended.

“Alright. It’s finally come to this. Just focus on defeating them, it’ll work out,” Ruin announced.

After a short strategy session, everyone had agreed to Ruin’s final plan. On top of them showing barely any exhaustion, Lilo still had half of her MP, so I expected it to go well.

“It’s starting…”

Right after entering the room, the message appeared in our minds. Then, the four robots emerged from within the walls.

“Alright… let’s go! Lilo!
“Yeah!”

Ruin’s strategy went as follows:

First, Lilo would gather up the enemies right after they appeared with Ice Magic and restrain them. Still, they were A-Rank, so those bindings likely wouldn’t last for more than ten seconds, so Ruin, Myuri, and Karua would quickly launch their magic during that window. Then, Tuhl, Orgo, Ruin, and Karua would rush in and finish them off with their swords.

This strategy kept both Ruin and Karua rather busy, but it couldn’t be helped. Incidentally, support magic of every type had been cast on the whole group, excluding Mika and me.

“Aaaaaah~!! Matchless Ice!”

While the enemies were drawing their swords and turning towards us, Lilo’s shout echoed through the room. Multiple instances of ultimate ice magic moved like giant hands and tightly gripped the four robots.

“Now! Matchless Light!”
“M-Matchless Water!”
“Matchless Thunder!”

At the same time, there was a violent explosion of Matchless magics, consuming most of their casters’ MP. The moment the prison of ice was gone, Lilo also joined in.

“Go! Raaaah~!”

Orgo pulled out his sword, clad in an iron aura, with all his might and there was a flash in mid-air. This was likely a technique from Great Swordsmanship¹. Then, he immediately shot off two, three slashes from a distance.

Was this the finishing blow?

The haze caused by the repeated attacks started to dissipate. Living beings… could no longer be felt on the other side. A short time later, the view had fully cleared up. Beyond lay mechanical debris and four A-Rank magic cores.

“Woo-hoo… we managed to bring them down…” Lilo cheered.

Their quick growth was a good thing. This showed just how much a group of six was capable of. In the beginning, I had been struggling all by myself.

So, they reached treasure level. That’s not bad… I guess?
Even assuming divine is the highest, I have no idea what’s the lowest you can get, so who knows.

The treasure chest appeared from within the wall.

“Do you wish for me to open it?”
“That’s right,” Ruin immediately replied to Karua’s question.

Moments later, the holder of excellent fortune opened the chest.

“What’s in there?”
“There are two S-Rank magic cores.”
“Oh~!!”

That’s excellent, isn’t it? In other words, with this, Lilo can create an S-Rank skill!

“Hm~, after seeing what Alim got from the legend level treasure, this feels a bit iffy,” Lilo nitpicked.
“These designations are probably equivalent to item ranks, right? A bit higher would’ve been better,” Ruin agreed.

Well, the winners themselves seem unsatisfied with their price.

“Still, with this, Miss Lilo is able to create an S-Rank skill, so I think it will become easier from now on!” I tried to placate them.
“…I see, finally an S-Rank skill,” Lilo mused.
“Eh, are you serious!? This feels unreal…” Ruin yelped.

Learning an S-Rank skill would make their rounds noticeably easier… or it should. For the time being, we left the dungeon and returned to the magic room for a break.

In any case, the round had also yielded five A-Rank magic cores. And it looked like there would be even more beyond that point.

…It feels like a total waste for such a good dungeon to disappear once Ruin and the others clear it. Can’t I do something about that with a divine grade item?

“Is that so? Shall we go, Orgo?”

Ruin and the others went to their bedrooms. Just Mika, Karua, and I remained here.

“Will you craft something?” Mika asked.
“Yep… it’s something I need to make. Could you stay with me, Mika?”

She gave a brisk nod, likely understanding what I was going for.

“Uhm… in that case, would you prefer me to go to sleep ahead of you?” Karua asked diplomatically.
“Yup, sorry about that.”
“Do not worry.” After muttering a “good night,” she went to sleep in the bedroom we used.

“So, what will we do?”
“Well, I was thinking of crafting a divine grade item. One that makes it so the dungeon won’t disappear when it’s cleared…”
“You can do that? That’s a great idea! But why did you want me to stay here?”

Mika looked as if a question mark was floating over her head. That was only natural.

“I’m sure you know that if I go all out and lock myself away in my workroom to craft items, making divine grade stuff can take around one and a half hours, right?”
“I do. Since we’re always together.”
“Yep. But the important part is what comes after.”

I shot a glance at the clock. Mika did the same.

“What comes after…?”
“You see, with what I told the others, it wouldn’t be unnatural for the two of us to stay together for several hours.”
“…Oh, geez! That’s what this is about? Eh-heh-heh-heh.”

It hadn’t been easy for me to spend time with her these days. I had to find the time for us to be intimate, or her dissatisfaction might blow up at some point. It was tough.

“Then, finish up quickly, will you? I’m going to take another bath!” she said.
“Huh… uhm, we won’t go that far…”
