“Hm… What should we do, then?” I asked, after the Magarigi sisters had ended their embrace.
“What do ya mean by that?” Shuu wondered.
“Well, the first thing would be to test whether you can even go home. Look, if the time comes when you want to leave, and you find out you can’t, like I did, it would be an issue, right? So, let’s just try it for the sake of it.”
“Oh… makes sense.”

Giving me no time to decide who should be the first to try it, Kanata stepped in front of me. Typical for my younger brother, he was quick to act.

“Then… how do we do that?” he asked.
“You put your hand on this Jizou statue and… well, it works somehow.”
“I see. So… could you try it first, Big Sis? Look, just to check if returning is possible… or if it even still works normally after we put Surtr in there.”

He does have a point.

“Understood, I’ll give it a try.”

Just like I had done back then, I gently placed my hand on the head of the statue, which looked so much like Lord Jizou. The moment the palm of my hand touched the chilly, highly refined stone… a display appeared in my mind.

Mika, Shuu, and Kanata rushed to my aid. I tried closing and opening my hands and looking around, to show them there was nothing wrong with my body.

“What happened?” Shuu asked, as he put his hand on my shoulder.
“N-Nothing, the display was different from the last time, so I just got surprised and ended up falling on my butt. No need to worry.”
“That so…? Good, then…”

Shuu got up while scrutinizing the Jizou statue.

“…Different how?” Mika mused. “I’ll give it a try, this time.”
“Take care.”

She nodded at Shuu after his warning.
Well, there really isn’t anything that dangerous about it, is there?

Unaware of my thoughts, Mika hesitantly placed her hand on the statue.

“Oh, it’s true!”

She calmly removed it right away.

“Right?”
“Yeah. Moreover, it looks like I can no longer return, either.”
“”Huh?”” Sakura and I blurted out at the same time.
“What do you mean?”

“On that note… this Reincarnation Shop which has been added…”
“I don’t know any more than you. What could it be, seriously?”

Mika and I looked at each other, wondering about this mysterious shop.

“Ah, Big Sis. It looks like I am able to return to Earth,” Kanata told me nonchalantly.

This guy… did he just try it without asking?

“When did you test that?”
“Well, from its name, this newly added feature sounded harmless. The World Transfer header gave me the options ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. There doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about, so for now, everyone should… right, could you try it too, Rir?”

Kanata had just taken the reins of the conversation… Well, even back in Japan, he had always been smarter than me, so I didn’t mind it much.

As suggested by my brother, Shuu tried it first. As for the result, it looked like he could go back. He didn’t seem particularly happy about that fact.

Sakura was next. Her result was the same. Rir was the last to try, and she ended up with the same “You cannot use this” result as Mika and I. But everyone could use the Reincarnation Shop.

“Since it’s come to this, all that remains is to test out this shop…” I mused. “I probably have the highest Reincarnation count, so I’ll do it.”
“T-Take care,” Shuu cautioned me.

After nodding at him, I placed my hand on the statue’s head once more. The same display as earlier appeared in my mind.
