“Then… this will be Shuu’s and Rir’s room, and over there is Kanata’s and Sakura’s.”

I allocated rooms for the two couples. They were ten steps away from Mika’s and my room¹. Well, they were more or less guest rooms, like the ones Karua, Rose, and the others had stayed in.

“Do you have any requests?”
“Hey, Alim, just for the fun of it, let’s put double beds in their rooms!”

W-What kind of suggestion is that supposed to be, Mika?

“Hah… Say, you guys,” I tried to stop things before they went too far. “To use double beds would still be a bit too embarrassing for you, right?”
“Nah, it ain’t that way. There was a double bed in the place where we lived. By the way, the room of those two kids had the exact same layout and furniture, y’know?” Shuu explained with a grin.
“H-Hang on… Shuu…!!” Kanata yelped.

Shuu’s comment was likely intended to mess with Kanata and Sakura. Rir also looked at him with a somewhat surprised expression.

“In that case, double beds for both rooms it is!” she announced with a satisfied look.

I snapped my fingers. With this, the change to the rooms’ furniture was done. Heh-heh, I simply modified the two beds inside the rooms with Dark Matter.

“Eh… uhm…”
“…Oh dear, don’t tell me you don’t want to sleep next to Sakura, Kanata?” Mika teased.
“Eh… no, that’s not it…”
“No problems then. Right, Sakura?”
“…Uhm… y-yeah…”

Mika managed to push ahead in her overbearing manner.
This feels a bit as if we’re forcing them to share a bed. Oh, well, I’m sure it’ll be fine.

“…I’ll start making dinner now, so you can get settled in,” I announced, turning towards the kitchen. “I’ll call you when I’m done. In around 10 minutes.”

Heh-heh, I think I’ll serve them Golden Rose Queen Dragon steaks.

“Food is ready! Please come with me!”

After cooking the extravagant meal, I directly called out to the five of them from in front of their rooms. In reaction to my voice, they all came out and followed me to the large dining hall.

“Ta-Dah!”
“O-Oh!?” someone exclaimed (it was Shuu).

I wonder what they’ll think of my cooking, will they find it tasty? Rir is a wolfkin, so she’ll probably like meat.

“Alright, everyone, today’s menu is Golden Rose Queen Dragon steak.”
“Steak made from an adult dragon?”
“That’s right, a dragon. And an SS-Rank subspecies at that.”

Kanata and Sakura looked shocked. Well, it couldn’t be helped, dragon meat was an ultra-high-class ingredient, which even royalty would only have on special days. And this was from a subspecies. I had never tried to find out how much it was worth.

“It’ll get cold, so let’s start eating!”
“R-Right,” Shuu agreed.

Mika was already sitting next to the place I was planning to use, but the other four were still standing. This was a round table, which made it easier for people to sit next to the ones they cared about. Consequently, the seating order ended up as me, Mika, Sakura, Kanata, Rir, Shuu.

“Ah, I said we should start eating, but there’s something I want to tell you first.” When I spoke up once more, they all gave me their attention. “Let’s leave all, all~ the things that have piled up while we didn’t see each other, and the difficult topics for tomorrow! It’s already late today, so just use the bath in your rooms to clean up and then go to sleep! I’m sure you’re itching to look for a way to go back to Japan, but you don’t need to worry about that, I know of something…”

Hm~, to be honest, neither Mika nor I want to go back, but if Kanata and Sakura stay here too, our parents won’t have anyone left. And Shuu is a single child.

When they heard me talking about going home, their expressions changed, but I decided not to pay any mind to that for now.

“That’s all I wanted to say! Please enjoy the meal!”

“R-Right… Thanks for the food,” Shuu stuttered.
“Woof, thanks for the food.”
“”Thanks for the Food,”” Kanata and Sakura chorused.

Although they still seemed perplexed, everyone started on their steaks. On that note, it looked like Mika had said her “thanks for the food” in a low voice and then started eating ahead of us. She looked rather happy, which made me glad, too.

Now, what do the others think about it?

Shuu finished cutting off a slice of the steak and brought it to his mouth.

“Yum….!? Hah, what the hell? W-What in the what is this?”

Does he think it’s way too good? Eh-heh-heh. Sounds like he can no longer form proper sentences.

“Sho tashty…”
“Huh…”

Our siblings were the same.
Did it make them speechless?

Those were my thoughts, but there was one girl who acted unusually emotionally.

“___, ___! ___, ___… ____!”

I couldn’t understand anything of what Rir was saying. In her eyes, tears had started to form.
So, she does have a preference for meat, after all.

As I ate while entertaining these idle thoughts, dinnertime ended before I knew it, and everyone left me with a “that was a delicious meal” while looking at me in wonder, before returning to their rooms.

Mika and I did the same. After everyone else was gone, we secretly shared an after-meal kiss.
