The response post-upload was so overwhelming that my Tweeter bugged out, rendering my smartphone practically unusable for a while.

With no other choice, I busied myself with other things until bedtime rolled around, so I decided to call it a day and go to sleep.

By the following day, the frenzy had died down a bit, so I checked my phone and was astounded to see a ton of likes.

“Ehhh?! What’s this?!”
I couldn’t help but exclaim out loud in my room. It seemed only natural.

The sheer power of GloryCute hit me hard. The likes had reached a whopping 200,000, with 100,000 retweets – the spread was phenomenal.

Curious about the video, I checked it out and was further stunned to see it had garnered 500,000 views.

It was already clear that the earnings from this were going to be astronomical.

I couldn’t help but think I might have accidentally done something extraordinary.

I quickly tweeted a thank you on Tweeter for the tremendous views and the numerous new subscribers.

But with school to attend, I couldn’t dwell on it for long. I had to wrap things up and head off.

Arriving at school, I was met by the stares of three girls from my class, each wearing an enormous grin as they looked at me.

“G-Good morning.”
I nervously greeted them.

“Gooooooooood moooooorniiiiiiing!”
“You know what we wanna say, right?!”
“G-Guys, calm down… Fuhehe…”

“Eek!”
Feeling an overwhelming pressure, I instinctively stepped back and bumped into someone.

“What’s up, Yuki?”
It was Yuuto standing there.
Noticing my reaction, he quickly figured out what was going on.

“Ah, sorry, I know; it’s about that video from yesterday, right? You looked really good in it!”
“Th-Thanks…”
It was nice to be complimented, but I felt conflicted.

“Yuki-kun, you looked so gooddd!”
“Hey, why don’t you try out different cosplays…?”
“I think you should become a model…”
“Wh-Why are you all making groping gestures with your hands?!”

“YOUR REACTION IS SO CUTE, WE CAN’T HELP IT!”
“You’re all saying the same thing!”
“These girls are so in sync.”
How can you just stand there calmly and say that, Yuuto?!

“Putting that aside, you’re really making waves online, huh? I’m proud of you.”
“You looked amazing… Wanna learn some makeup? It’d be useful for the school festival, you know?”
“You’re cute, Yuki-kun, so you’ll do great!”

“Come to think of it, when did you guys stop calling Yuki ‘Hime-kun?’”
“GULP.”
“Oh? Now that you mention it, you’re right.”
“W-Well, you know…”
“I-It wasn’t like we were trying to get closer to you by calling you that!”
“I just couldn’t find the right moment to start, but then I followed the others…”

“WAS IT…BAD?’“
“Seriously, you guys are way too in sync.”
“I don’t mind.”
“PHEW…”
“I’m tired of pointing this out.”

“A-Anyway, when did you even do that GloryCute shoot?!”
“True. I’m curious, too.”
“Me too.”
“Me as well!”
I told them all about the day I did the shoot.

“It was just last week.”
“Huh? But that means the video came out immediately after.”
“Yeah. Hasn’t it been less than a week?”
“Did you edit it yourself, Yuki-kun?”
“GloryCute did the editing. I was surprised it was done so fast, too!”
It was indeed surprising how quickly the video was completed, considering the amount of editing that was done to it.

“That’s a big company for you…”
“Wow, professionals are amazing.”
“Seems hard to imitate…”
“I admire that, it’s not my forte.”

“Did you get to keep the outfit from that company project?”
“I got the cat hoodie and the coat.”
Actually, I liked the cat hoodie, and when I asked, they happily let me have it.
I’ve always liked animals, so that was a plus.
They insisted I take the coat because it suited me perfectly.
They even matched it with other clothes.

“Come on, change into the cat hoodie now!!!!!”
“I didn’t bring it!!!”
“Aw, I wanted to see it…”
“Me too…”
“I wanted to see it, too…”
“Don’t you have any intention to hide your desires, at least?!”
“Humans are greedy beings, huh?”
“Greed? No, it’s instinct.”
“It’d be great if I get to see it too, but I wouldn’t force you… I do wanna see it, though…”

“Make up your mind…”
“WE WANNA SEE!!!“

“I-I’m shy, so maybe not…”
“Ah, blushing Yuki-kun is cute too…”
“Aww…”
“Ahh…”

“They look dead.”
“They’ll come back to life when homeroom starts, right?”
Sure enough, they perked up when homeroom began.

Today’s first and second periods were a long homeroom (LHR) to decide the general outline for the school festival next month.

We needed to use this session to finalize our plans for it.

Our class decided to do a cosplay café, but there was a major problem: what costumes to wear.
Some classmates apparently had connections and could provide twenty costumes in total.

They could prepare ten maid outfits, five Chinese dresses, and five race queen costumes.
They said there might be some changes, but this was the limit.

If anything, I was baffled by these connections.
But with thirty students in class, we needed to figure out the remaining ten costumes.

That’s when one classmate suggested we could each chip in a bit to buy ten more costumes.

Nowadays, even cheap cosplays have good quality, so if everyone chipped in 1,000 to 2,000 yen, we could get decent ones.

After a class survey, nearly everyone agreed, so that issue was resolved.

The next big question was who would wear what.
At this point, the boys hadn’t realized that all the costumes were for girls.

The boys, thinking only girls would wear them, were shocked and started insisting we needed some for boys, too.

The girls agreed, and we decided to buy up to six male costumes.
However, the girls would choose the costumes, and we would draw lots to decide who wore what.

If you drew ‘Costume Purchase,’ the girls would coordinate your outfit, either cross-dressing or not, depending on what you got.
Draw ‘Male Costume,’ you wear male attire; ‘Female Costume,’ you cross-dress.

I had a feeling this chill yesterday was foreshadowing this.

Now, it was my turn to draw.
With ten slips left and four being ‘Male Costume,’ only one was ‘Female Costume.’
Surely, it would be fine.
“Male one, please…”

I drew with a prayer in my heart.

“‘Female Costume… you’re kidding…”

“YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The girls’ cheers echoed through the classroom.
