Petra began explaining the symptoms of PTSD in simple terms.
It could be treated with both pharmaceutics or with psychotherapy.
But procuring the required medicine could be called difficult at best, so it had to be ruled out.
Which left psychotherapy as the only viable option, but there was also no doctor who would know how to treat a disorder like that.
Schenna tightly clasped her fists as she walked closer to Grana to ask if he had a way to treat her.

“You can’t help her recover with your healing magic?”
“I can’t. I can try to relieve her to a certain extent, but Luthors has to deal with the root of the problem herself if she wants to fully recover.”

When Grana was done applying his magic to her, she looked like she would be able to continue with her regular life without problems, but hunting monsters was out of the question.
There was no guarantee the weather would remain calm every time she went out to hunt, so the risk was too high.

For Luthors, this meant the hard choice to distance herself from her life as a knight.
And there was only the steep path to a full recovery left.
Schenna was ready to do all she could for her, and she had already started to arrange things so that she could feel as secure and free of suffering as she could.

And for the next time they would need to gather Dark Cores, she would hire someone from the guild to take care of it instead.
Luthors would probably protest, but that had to be done to protect her.

“As the restaurant’s manager I…will take care of telling her directly. I don’t know if she will accept it or not, but I want to support her with all I’ve got until she’s recovered.”
“I will also continue treating her with my magic. I’m sure she’ll recover.”

Schenna and Grana both expressed their resolution in helping Luthors recover.
And since Petra couldn’t use any sort of healing magic, she could only pray for her colleague to return to work soon enough.

“I have known her for a while as well now. This might only be an amulet, but please give it to her when she wakes up.”

Reesha took an amulet out from her breast pocket and handed it over to Schenna, then returned to her duties in the palace.
After some time passed, the rain softened and the thunder stopped.
When Luthors woke up, she was still lying on the bed and Schenna was beside her.

“I’m glad, how are you feeling?”
“…My head feels a bit light, but I’m okay.”
“I’ll bring you some food, so stay there.”
“Don’t worry, I can walk. This is my room, right? I can go downstairs on my own.”

Her feet were steady, and her mind seemed to be stable now.
Kishana was already in the kitchen downstairs, preparing something Luthors liked.

“So you woke up? We had a lot of trouble here while you were on your date with Schenna, Sareenea came and began scolding Petra.”

Kishana served the food and placed it on the table, then everyone sat down and began eating.

“…I’m sorry. I never told any of this, but I can’t handle thunder. And because I kept quiet I caused so much trouble for all of you.”
“There are things I can’t handle as well, so it’s okay.”
“Schenna… don’t worry so much about me. I could hear everything you said after Grana used his magic, including about stopping me from gathering Dark Cores.”

Luthors looked at everyone present as her face full of regret tried to hold back her tears.
Schenna stood up and walked to Luthors’ side where she bent down so their eyes would meet.

“Yes, I want you to stop going out to gather them. But I still want you to be here and be in the kitchen with us. It might take a long time, but I’m sure you’ll recover!”
“You won’t…abandon me even if I can’t use my sword?”
“No one here would be so cruel. Rather, I even feel sorry you had to help in the kitchen and hunting monsters until now. You already did so much while hiding you were afraid of thunder, but you don’t have to do that anymore. Just focus on recovering now.”

Having exchanged their feelings like that, Schenna gently patted Luthors’ head as Luthors hugged Schenna.
