“…Paralyzer!”
“You may look cool…but damn that hurts!”

The Player Killer with a crossbow grumbled in their backlines. Frey’s Wind Spiritual Magic spell Paralyzer dealt damage while crippling movement, stopping the female elf with the crossbow from reloading another bolt into it.

“Frey, you keep focusing on that elf!”
“You got it!”

His response was almost instant, and Crim knew she could trust Frey to do a good job, and stopped worrying about the enemy crossbow.

The enemy group was composed of the two human men in front of Crim, a gnome artificial lifeform with a crossbow behind them, the female elf that Frey was holding back, and a distance back blocking any escape was the dual axe wielder with reptilian features, a dragonewt.

The main concern was that the dragonewt was in a good position to attack Frey and Freya, but…

“Heheheheh…I’ll bring death to Player Killers…just like mother said…hehehheh!”
“Wh-What’s wrong with her..?!”

The dragonewt PKer was taken aback by the sudden onslaught of attacks from that small girl, her body shrouded in blue flames.

Yeah, I know. This is kinda scary.

A young girl with golden eyes that had a dull glow, striking repeatedly with a large sword seemed like a scene straight from a horror movie. For just an instant Crim began feeling compassion for the dragonewt, but quickly remembered on which side she stood.

Even if stats made little difference in skill based games like this one, there was still a significant gap in the abilities of a new player and a veteran. Hinagiku was still inexperienced and lacked stats, so if the dragonewt simply calmed down, he would likely win.

“Don’t push yourself too hard, Hinagiku! Just make sure he can’t get to our rear lines!”
“Got it!”

Hearing that clear and mindful response brought Crim immense relief about Hinaguki’s mental state. But she barely had any time to think about that, she had her own opponents to think about.

It’s been fifty seconds since the fight started, they should make their move soon..!

As Crim lowered her stance, the two human attackers kept a watchful eye on her.

…But they were not Crim’s target.

“…There, Night Curtain!”

The two humans had been wary of her the entire time, but Crim’s magic was launched at the female gnome with a crossbow in the back.

“Uwa woah? Everything went dark!”

She instantly became confused.

Night Curtain was a Darkness Magic spell, which snuffed out the light of the target’s eyes for a few seconds. Just as Crim used it, she also threw her shadow dagger.

“Kyah?!”

The gnome PKer cried in an unexpectedly cutesy manner.

Crim’s dagger merely grazed her shoulder though, dealing minimal damage.

The gnome looked at her shoulder and sighed with relief seeing that, but almost instantly a second dagger pierced her forehead, turning her body into Remain Light before she could even gasp in shock.

“Focus! Magic weapons take a long time to re-cast, she’s completely defenseless!”

One of the human men shouted.

His reasoning was correct, Shadow Light-Weapon had a cooldown of 60 seconds. Crim had just thrown the second dagger she was able to make, and now it would take some time before it became available to her again.

But while her opponents regained their composure, Crim had already cast a different spell.

“…Shadow Heavy-Weapon…Katana!”

A long blade emerged, as if Crim was unsheathing it from the shadows.

“…No way?!”
“Wait, I thought that required a super hard quest..!”

The PKers quickly went into disarray seeing the katana. And that was the perfect opening. Crim forced her body to move under the restraints from the sun, leading with her shoulder as she threw herself onto the closest PKer.

“Ghah…”

The man let out a painful groan. That much was understandable, as Crim had driven her blade into his throat, pushing with her entire body. But…

Too shallow!

Even with his throat pierced, the PKer had not died instantly, and he attempted to retaliate by swinging his axe down. Crim decided to shift angles, trying to slice through the rest of his neck, but then…

“Miss!!”

Hinagiku screamed sharply, which gave Crim a really bad feeling so she twisted her body in response.

“Guh..?!”

Her stomach felt hot and the shock made her grunt. She also noticed her HP bar was shrinking.

“D-Damn…you!”

Those were the only words the PKer could get out before turning into the particles of light indicating he had died.

Now Crim could afford to look at what had happened with her stomach, and saw the other human PKer, the one who had ambushed them at first, plunging his sword into her with a delirious look on his face.

That was when Crim realized she had been stabbed by the other PKer.

“Hehehh, this is so fun, nothing beats the feeling of cutting through a girl!”
“Ghh…you…icky…pervert!!”

He pushed the sword further into Crim’s body, which made Crim’s HP bar decrease even more, while the pain that usually was dulled by the system became sharper.

Dealing with all those sensations at the same time, Crim kicked off the man’s chest, pulling herself away from the sword as a result of it.

“Crim?!”

Someone shouted behind her, and then she saw the light of healing magic. The pain began to fade, but the aggression in her eyes multiplied many times over against the man.

“Heh, we already know they’re all worth nothing without you. Being their leader must suck, huh?!”
“You’re even worse than I imagined..!”
“Well boo hoo, what did you expect from a bunch of degenerates!”
“Kyah?!”
“Freya!!”

Crim turned around startled, hearing a girly cry behind her. There was one more PKer, a young cat War Beast, who was trying to drag Freya back by her neck.

“You… Slave Chain!!”

Crim felt blood rushing to her head and she unleashed a spell in rage. The blood spilling out from Crim’s stomach turned into chains, which flew straight at the War Beast ambusher that was attacking Freya.
