As she quoted the lyrics of a song that was once the pinnacle of motivation, Suzaku felt compelled to retort… But Kirisu Sakura’s motivational cheers echoed through the entire battlefield.

“Crim!”

There was only one minute left.
At first glance, it looked like they had made great progress in that time, but many of the players that had been fighting were exhausted, or already downed, dramatically slowing down the pace.

As Shao realized that they would not make it in time, Crim followed his orders and took the Ragnarok Weapon she had prepared, and after receiving the last bits of MP from Freya, she shouted up into the air.

“I know. Lycorism art thou ready?!”
“I’m…I’m ready!”

Lycoris was high up in the sky, unable to move as she had deployed Seraph Flügel, and was forced to rely on various defensive Skills to avoid the flashes of light from Beelzebub’s black sphere.

Having endured this long had left her body tattered, but her spirit remained untouched, and she gave a firm nod.

“Alright… Frey, match us as well!”
“Yeah, I got you!”

Crim spoke to her two allies with the strongest long range attacks, and then shouted while holding firmly her dark dusk colored greatsword.

“…EX Drive… Ephemeral Spectral Swords!!”

Twelve crimson swords began floating around Crim.
They formed a circle and began to spin like drills while lightning bolts coursed through them.

“…Legion Reave!!”

She shouted as she dashed past the fiery frontlines, and the spinning swords pinned down Beelzebub’s Absolute Defense, letting out bright sparks everywhere.

“EX Drive! Gatling Cast!!”
“Same here, Mirror Idea!!”

Frey and Shao also activated the Skills that allowed them to cast faster, shooting out dozens of freezing spells which covered the battlefield in white frost.

“Charge up complete, Ain Soph Aur Bullet!!”

Lycoris up in the sky also shot an enormous beam of light, like she was returning all the damage she had endured.
All of that made the gauge of Beelzebub’s Absolute Defense to shrink down much faster than before.

Crim and her friends were still nervous, worried that they would end up getting caught in the line of fire of Aery’s black sphere…but all of their combined attacks began to meld together, turning into a ball of plasma.

It was the same phenomenon they had accidentally discovered during the fight with Cthulhu.
The players had coined that effect Mana Burst, which now continued to eat into Beezebub’s barrier…

*Schiiii…ck*

There was a high pitched noise as it cracked all over.

Crim and the players had made it in time.
The barrier shattered into countless pieces which scattered away.

*”Ah…”*

With the barrier gone, and the black sphere suddenly falling apart and vanishing, Beelzebub let out an aloof voice.
That was an opening, maybe the only one they would get in that fight.
And so…Crim had to take it, as she announced with a loud voice.

“Noble Red…!!”

She unleashed all the latent abilities in her body, setting all of her blood ablaze.
She felt like a pair of demon wings spread behind her back as she put more strength into her feet, dashing to that girl who still had not recovered from her shock.

*”I can still…!”*
“No, this game ends now, Aeryyy!!”

She crossed her arms, trying to deploy another barrier to protect herself, but the greatsword in Crim’s hands cut through it like paper.

“Raaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!”
*”No, I can’t lose…how..?!”*

Beelzebub raised her dark blue greatsword, trying to stop Crim who swung hers down while roaring. Sparks flew out violently as the blades clashed…until Beelzebub could not resist any longer and her small body was flung away.

Then Sorleon charged in, revealing his true form as a Drake. Suzaku also transformed into a dragon, while Setsuna appeared with twelve golden tails.
Hinagiku, Kasumi, and whoever remained from the players also rushed in, ready to continue attacking Beelzebub before she could recover from Crim’s strike.

The devil girl watched it all with a dumbfounded look…until she seemed to accept it and broke into a smile.

*Ahh…that was fun.*
