Just around the time when the Devil Belzebub began fighting in earnest…

“Things aren’t looking well over there, so let’s deal with this fast… Lightning Form, Endless Tachi!!”

Shouting the name of the ability, Hinagiku charged headfirst into the weakest fire tornado nearby, finally unsheathing the tachi she had kept in reserve.

…This Endless Tachi ability was a powerful unsheathing attack, its swiftness making justice to it being the final Lightning Form ability gained with 100 Skill Points, even if it felt a bit underwhelming in other aspects.

The only distinction…was that at the very last instant of the attack, there was a moment where she could chain another attack, just like Crim often did, *and it was possible to repeat the same attack over and over.*

Then again, the time frame to do that was so minuscule, right after the system assisted movements ended, so it was not realistic to pull it off…but…

*Cli-Cli-Cli-Cli-Cli-Cli-Cli-Clink!*

There were eight rapid collisions from her blade.
It had been so fast that it just looked like flickering lights.

“…Not too bad!”

Hinagiku smiled smugly at her work, before jumping back to evade the orb’s counterattack.
All of her focused attacks had left a clear crack on the orb.

…Every time Hinagiku was free, she would practice connecting that attack.
As a result…she went from being lucky if she got two repetitions, to an average of five each time, and a high record of twelve.
That allowed her DPS to increase dramatically, leaving even Crim in shock.

…Here it was enough to prove that they could destroy the orbs.
The only thing left to do was to actually cut them down, which Hinagiku set her mind onto as a crazed grin took over her young face.

While Hinagiku focused on one of the orbs, Lycoris chased after a different one, her Support Device Floater attached to her back.

“…Lesen, Langsamer!”

As the orb tried to escape, it flew straight into the area Lycoris had prepared, where it quickly decreased in speed.

…Magius Langsamer, an ability to make the air in a given area stiffer, slowing down targets. It did not have much effect on enemies with a lot of mass, but a small floating orb could not break free very easily.

With the orb slowed down, Lycoris quickly caught up to it, where she aimed her gun at it and shouted.

“…Bunker Bullet!!”

*BAANG!!*

The sound of a massive impact echoed through the battlefield.
Bunker Bullet was the most powerful attack she had, especially from close range.
In a regular situation it would have simply pushed the orb along, but when coupled with Langsamer, there was nowhere for the orb to go, forcing it to absorb the full impact.

*Creak*

There was a very light sound, but it could not be mistaken.

*This can work!*

Just as Lycoris thought that, the orb began glowing red, so she deployed her Floater to escape.
A moment later…a gust of fire emanated from the orb, which Lycoris fended off with Einstrasse as much as she could while moving out of its range.

“Lycoris, are you okay?!”
“I’m alright, I can take care of this!”

Freya looked at her worried, and she replied instinctively, then breaking into a smile realizing what she had just said.

It had not been too long since she was still a timid and quiet girl, traits that seemed to be gone now.
Not even she had noticed when that change happened, having turned into a far more dependable person.

“We need to clean up here quickly…and then we can all go help Crim and the rest!”

Raising her voice with authority, she took off into a straight line through the sky.
