“Lord Kenki? I don’t understand. We’re here to rescue Sister Uesugi together. Why would you point your weapon at my neck?”

“Huh? Why? Girl, you’re really dimwitted! You stupidly followed me to the foot of Mount Ooe, and you dare to ask me why?”

Another demon wore tattered ancient clothing and had purple skin. Both his movement and appearance made him look like a tall and gaunt corpse warrior. He was Todo Koan, a late-stage Throned Monarch!
