The knights were around lvl 7-10. And the female knight was lvl 21. The bandits were no match for them. They were still far too weak compared to me. I could take on an entire country if everyone is at this level. But the murder scene I witnessed made me face the cold reality. This wasn’t a game. Somehow I got isekai’d. I remember now. I really got shot in the bar. I died and somehow ended up in this place. While I was remembering my past, the female knight finally approached me.
She drew her sword. I found myself with her rapier pointed at my neck. Didn’t she save me a moment ago? Why is she hostile now?
“What’s your name? Identify yourself right now.”
“Umm… my name is Yama… err… I mean Izunahime!”
I almost gave my real name.
“Such a weird name. Are you a demi-human? And your clothes are so weird. What’s your business around here?”
Ah. I understand why she is suspicious now. A weird person suddenly pops up so it’s normal to raise question marks. I had to come up with a story. Eventually I gave a plausible explanation. Something I read in manga. I told her that I was traveling with a caravan. I was brought from a different country. Our caravan was attacked and I was the only survivor. I tried to escape these bandits and that’s when the knights found me. The female knight looked around. Did she notice the guy I ripped in 2? Her doubts are just, but…
“I see. Very well then. Do you have a place to stay?”
She believes me? At least she put her sword away.
“Umm… no. I’m not very familiar with this land.”
“Then come with us for now.”
I politely nodded and let them lead the way.
An hour passed since we were on the road. Eventually we reached a farm. A countryside place. A wooden house and a stable. Smoke was coming from the chimney so that means someone made a fire. At the fence entrance the female knight turned her head to me and said “Wait here.”
She went and talked with the owners. A couple. The man was lvl 1 and the woman was lvl 2. The man had some muscle on his arms, but also had a big belly. The woman on the other hand was a beauty. A voluptuous milf. Her b̲o̲o̲b̲s̲ were even bigger than mine and she was rather tall. Thicc too. Her long silky smooth chestnut hair was fluttering in the wind and her pale blue eyes were shining in the sun.
“If it’s a request from the famous lieutenant, how can we refuse? As long as she earns her bread we are more than happy to take her in. Besides, since I’m mostly away in the town it will be reassuring for my wife to have some company.”
Oh. Since I told her I don’t know anything about this land, she arranged for me to stay here. I see. She signaled me to come over.
“For now you can stay here.”
“Thank you for your consideration.”
“Why are you bowing?”
“Oh… this is just how we say thank you from were I come from.”
“I’ve never heard of such a custom.”
I’m glad she was in a hurry to leave. It’s like she’s staring into my very soul. Before long the knights took their leave.
“Thank you again for having me. My name is, Izunahime. But please feel free to call me Izuna.”
“What an unusual name. Well I’m Marcus and this is my wife, Elenore. Let’s get along.”
“You must be hungry. Let me offer you some food.”
We exchanged a hand shake and they showed me inside. Was I about to become a farmer now?
The night passed. At first I thought I was gonna have to spend the night in the barn. But surprisingly they had a guest room, so I managed to get a decent sleep. The matress was filled with straws so it wasn’t as comfortable as my regular bed but it was good enough for a decent sleep. Being alone, I also got the chance to look at my genitals. Yup… I had the works. All 3 genitals. I had a p̲e̲n̲i̲s̲, balls and a p̲u̲s̲s̲y̲. I was surprised my futa c̲o̲c̲k̲ was bigger than my real counterpart. I always worried that mine was too small. That I could never satisfy a woman. Did I get a bigger c̲o̲c̲k̲ because of my subconscious worries? I’ll never know. But the skill was right. Wearing panties… no bulge was visible and I could walk naturally with no hindrance.
Early in the morning, Marcus had to go to town.
“Now, dear, remember to get a good price. We need the money.”
“Leave it to me! And Izuna, make sure you listen to my wife. You gotta earn your keep.”
“Roger!”
And so, Marcus got on the carriage. It seems he had lots of products. Milk, cheese, eggs and vegetables. They probably make them all here and sell them in town. Once he left Elenore approached me.
“Well then, Izuna, let’s get you started.”
She took me behind the house and there, a mountain of logs were settled.
“For now start chopping wood. Try to do as much as you can. The hatchet is over there. If you need me, I’ll be in the barn.”
Well… farm life wasn’t what I expected. But maybe if I do a good job she’ll let me take a stroll to test my powers.
Aiming for the logs that were half the length of my arms, I swung down the hatchet. The hatchet split the log cleanly into two vertically and dug into the ground beneath it.
After that I positioned the split log once again and swung down the hatchet.
Along with a satisfying sound, the semicircle shaped two halves divided perfectly into one quarter fan shaped pieces. I didn’t even need to apply that much force to it. Until I can measure my strength… I don’t wanna make a crater in the ground.
I collected the quarter pieces and flung them to the side before taking another log and starting to chop it.
After confirming that the log beautifully split into 2 parts, I wiped the sweat on my forehead with the back of his hand. The sun was hot even this early in the morning.
“…I-I have to chop these…? A-All of them…? Why do they even need this much wood?”
But complaining won’t solve anything. Let’s just get this over with already. Wonder how long it will take. Do people in this world measure time on 24 hour basis too? Well… staring at the logs won’t get the job done. So I rolled up my sleeves and fired myself up for more. I swung the hatchet a few times to get a feel of it. And then I started.
Chop… chop… chop
Over and over. Surprisingly, aside for the sweat… I didn’t feel tired or anything. Log after log, the mountain stack started decreasing as time passed on.
