Hello.

I’m not…exactly in the best of place right now. It’s been a week since I am trapped in a slump, and while I know it’s just a small hurdle, I can’t do anything until I solve it. Not my translation, not my job hunting. Is- is that weird? Like, to be so obsessed of one teeny, tiny thing, that your entire life has to be halted? I feel like I have something undiagnosed but I don’t have the resource to diagnose it (and I really don’t trust Internet Diagnosis, mainly because I am biased and partial, I am not a professional, and I do not know what I read).

I don’t have a lot of wants… well, I do have a lot of wants, but I don’t really have something I’d regret to die without possessing it, you know what I mean? I’m pretty lucky, all things considered. Got people I call family, got a roof above my head, got a body, flawed as it is. Nothing’s really permanent in this world so I’m not particular of what I have or what I leave behind, but… If there is one thing I really, really wish for… I just wish I could express myself better. Write a better sentence. Draw a better picture. Sing a better song. Every time I indulge in a creative process, I see shadows of what my works could have become, and all I can do is blame myself for being not good enough.

ABBY might take a break next week. I feel like hot tapir dung in a tropical forest. Damp and stank and covered in mold.

….yeah that gets annoying fast. Anyway, my RL friend got married this week and that makes me feel so damn old. Like, what you mean he’s getting married? Like, MARRIED married?? I thought we’re still the same snotty brats who’d stay over at each other’s places and play PlayStation 4 all day? Now he’s got his own wife? And building a family?? And have a job??? Like an ADULT???????

Somewhere in my heart I feel like I’m still in High School. Not-, not the puberty part. I mean, I’d been translating stuff since I was in High School, and this feels like the extension of it. Like I haven’t made the next step towards becoming a “Grown-Up,” if you know what I mean. Even dropped out of college because “graduating” feels…. yeaaahhh…. lets not touch that can of worm.

Happy New Year!

How’s everyone’s vacation? I hope you’re doing good. It feels weird saying that since I made this post before the year changes, but eh, it’s the thought that counts.

For the time being it’s just a means to read future chapters ahead of time, but I might expand it a little bit here and there in the future. It feels like a step forward to my freelancing career, but you guys don’t need to feel obligated to join. I will prioritize weekly chapters here first and foremost since I just want my silly story to be read by you guys. Also, my resolution this year is to get a proper gaming PC, low-tier is fine as long as I can stream and play games.

2025. Man, we keep forgetting how big that number is, especially since that’s not even the start of human history. Every era brought about their own people, every person lives out their own story. Eight billion people are living today, that’s eight billion different stories–Today. Yes, that’s just today. How about tomorrow? How about yesterday? How about all those people who have long gone? Man, the amount of stories this world can offer is literally limitless. And then we all will return to Earth, and those who remember us will pass too, and time will keep marching on, leaving us behind.

Flash news. I wrote a novel!
See, I’m such a good translator that I always finish my work way too early. Nowadays I’m left with too much time on my hand I don’t know what to do. So I wrote a novel, as one does when you have too much time.

The story is about an isekai’d person granting the wishes of dead children. It takes place in a continent that is recovering from a thousand years of war. There’s geopolitics, religions, racial tensions, refugee stories… Yeah, fun stuff. They’re all in the background tho since our female protagonist takes the front and center with her wacky adventures.

Is it good?
Well, I’m hoping you’d tell me. I’m posting the first 6 (six!) chapters at once to see if you guys like it. It’s really rough at the start, you see.
One last warning! English isn’t my first language, so I’m using AI to help me proofread it.
