Lily gripped Moonfrost Floranima tightly, bringing both her secret arts and swordsmanship to their absolute peak. Even Lily herself had never imagined that the sword would harmonize with her so perfectly.

“As expected of the sword once wielded by Tsukuyomi no Mikoto. I inherited Tsukuyomi no Mikoto’s legacy. Though I still don’t know what your ultimate wish was when you fought the Three Realms in those ancient days, I swear that with this sword, I will slaughter every last one of those who persecuted you.

“And with this sword, I’ll protect Senior Sister… protect all my sisters. No matter what, I will bring Senior Sister back into the sunlight.”

Lily’s state of mind was also influenced by Moonfrost Floranima. The fiery passion within her had faded somewhat, replaced by a mournful, chilling sorrow. Yet this version of Lily resonated even more perfectly with the Lunar Force, making her even more dangerous.

For a time, the assembled demon gods and deities all hesitated to make their move.

“Everyone! Th-this is truly a peerless divine sword on par with the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi! Across all Three Realms, even with our fortunes, we may never encounter such a supreme treasure again! As long as we attack together, use offense as our defense, avoid being struck by that sword, subdue Kagami Lily, then this peerless treasure will be ours!” Kuroyoku shouted as the wounds across his body rapidly healed.

Men would die for wealth, just as birds would die for food.

If the previous Oborozuki soul had not been enough to drive the assembled demon gods into risking their lives, then this treasure, comparable to the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, was more than enough to make them gamble everything to seize it.

“Kagami Lily! Surrender your life!” Suddenly, a sinister gale erupted behind Lily as an enormous raven wing, vast enough to blot out the sky, cleaved toward her.

“Amanozako!”

Amanozako, who had remained behind Kiyoshi without making a move until now, finally entered the battle.

“Lily, don’t stay here! Even the Great Imperial Gods would stop at nothing to seize Moonfrost Floranima. Break through their encirclement with that sword immediately! Right now, no one here should be capable of stopping you, but you absolutely cannot remain entangled here. The longer you delay, the greater the chance something unexpected will happen!” Rinne suddenly transmitted her voice.

“Understood! Nanako, let’s go!”

Lily had faced a million demon gods alone solely to obtain the Oborozuki soul. Now that the Moonfrost Floranima had been successfully forged, there was no reason to continue fighting here.

Although she feared none of the opponents present, there were simply too many Supreme Gods. If they attacked together, both she and Nanako, especially Nanako, would be in grave danger. Moreover, who knew what miraculous treasures those Supreme Gods possessed? Even if she could battle them all at once, she could never slaughter a million demon gods. If she delayed any longer, news of such a divine sword’s birth would surely attract even more terrifying treasure hunters.

Leaving immediately was the wisest choice.

Earlier, Lily’s divine perception had sensed that Shizuka Gozen had been taken into the distant Ashikaga army camp by Amanozako’s subordinates. She would likely face punishment from the female tengu, but since she was still technically one of their people, nothing truly serious should happen to her.

Lily knew that even if she asked Shizuka to leave with her now, she would refuse. That matter would have to wait for another day.

Lily regarded her as a sister. Yet she acknowledged Amanozako as her mistress. What else could Lily do?

Lily leaped into the air, her speed exploding as she charged toward a single direction. Nanako followed below, wisely maintaining a certain vertical distance from Lily.

The Supreme Gods paid no attention to whether Nanako escaped or not. Every one of them focused solely on pursuing Lily, and the other powerful experts likewise ignored Nanako.

Capturing Nanako served no purpose beyond taking a hostage, and with strength already approaching that of a Supreme God, she was hardly someone who could be captured so easily.

More importantly, every eye had been blinded by the divine sword. Each and every one of them dreamed of claiming the treasure… and the beauty who wielded it.

“Hehehehehe! Although this divine sword rivals the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, only in your hands can it display its greatest power! Lily, come now! Let this old man turn you into my puppet so you can wield this sword for me! What do you think?” Mudobozu chased after Lily, his grotesquely long tongue hanging out as he gleefully voiced his perverse fantasy.

“You’re courting death!” Lily could leave whenever she wished, so she cared nothing for delaying by a single second. She turned and casually swung her blade. An incomparably swift slash shot toward Mudobozu. It was merely an offhand strike, not especially powerful, but astonishingly fast.

**Slash!**

Mudobozu’s tongue was severed clean off. Clutching his mouth, he howled in agony.

“Kagami Lily! Stop your arrogance!” Kujaku Myōō finally made his move. Rather than confronting Lily head-on, he raised his vajra and unleashed the great formation of “Rin, Pyō, Tō, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen!”

Instead of dueling Lily directly, he used the immense power of the formation to attack and obstruct her. This was Kujaku Myōō’s greatest trump card.

Lily slashed repeatedly with her blade, shattering every attack the formation launched. Moonfrost Floranima possessed inconceivable sharpness. It cleaved apart not only smoke and energy, but even space itself.

Meanwhile, Kujaku Myōō drew out a divine spear and thrust viciously toward Lily’s flank.

Lily’s figure flickered, effortlessly evading the thrust before instantly turning and slashing back. Kujaku Myōō was equally agile and swift. Refusing to clash with her directly, he retreated rapidly until a considerable distance separated them, then drew his divine bow.

But instead of aiming at Lily… He fired at Nanako.

“Despicable!” Lily’s expression changed. Aside from these few peak Supreme Gods, Nanako could block almost anyone else’s attacks with the Sakura Parasol. But Kujaku Myōō’s arrow was not something she could take lightly.

Lily instantly unleashed a crescent slash from Moonfrost Floranima, cleaving the divine arrow in two. After splitting the arrow, the slash continued onward, carving an immense canyon across the earth and claiming the lives of hundreds of demon gods caught in its path.

**Bzzz!**

Suddenly, a golden gale erupted behind her as Kanan-Mugaku transformed into his thousand-armed golden body, sending countless weapons crashing toward Lily.

Lily darted and weaved through the barrage, but there were simply too many weapons. Though she severed several of Kanan-Mugaku’s arms with Moonfrost Floranima, she herself was struck several times.

With a thousand arms came a thousand blades. While difficult to defend against, each individual strike was greatly weakened. The attacks could do little more than tear Lily’s clothing. Yet her garments were formed from her Domain, and each tear mended itself almost instantly.

“Kagami Lily! Answer me! Was it you who killed my clansman, Rokuhara Tandai, in the mortal world?”

“I was! And what of it? He murdered my beloved mentor and dearest friend, Yoruko. He deserved to die!” As Lily danced with her divine sword, several more of Kanan-Mugaku’s arms were severed. Enraged beyond reason, Kanan-Mugaku ignored his own injuries and charged at Lily with reckless fury.

Lily’s movements suddenly became almost unbelievable. She flickered between infinitesimal gaps, slipping past the overwhelming majority of the blades. Though a few still struck her, they merely shredded her clothing and left faint red marks across her skin.

She abandoned all defense entirely. Relying solely upon her peak Supreme God physique, she forcibly endured every attack she could not evade.

“What!?” Kanan-Mugaku was utterly stunned.

That single instant allowed Moonfrost Floranima to break free. Its blade pierced straight through Kanan-Mugaku. The Dark Lunar Force instantly annihilated Kanan-Mugaku’s Divine Spirit Crystal, and Lily seized both his divinity and all of his treasures.

“Kagami Lily! You dare slay another god!” A Celestial Stage Supreme God clad in silver armor charged toward Lily.

Ignoring him completely, Lily concentrated all her strength on breaking through the encirclement. Ahead of her, a million gods bombarded her with spells and attacks from powerful artifacts, forcing Lily to defend herself with divine power. Her speed inevitably slowed.

The silver-armored Supreme God seized the opportunity and brought his massive greatsword crashing down toward Lily’s back. “Watch as I split you in two, you vile b̲i̲t̲c̲h̲! Let this be your punishment for bringing calamity upon the Three Realms!”

“Hmph!” Just as the greatsword descended, Lily suddenly twisted her graceful body and spun around, answering with a single slash. That slash was unimaginably fast, carrying overwhelming power.

The mournfully beautiful and razor-sharp edge of Moonfrost Floranima cleaved through the silver-armored Supreme God, splitting both him and his greatsword cleanly in two. He had boldly declared that he would cut Lily in half, never expecting to be the one bisected instead.

Lily collected the silver-armored Supreme God’s treasures, but Kujaku Myōō arrived with astonishing speed and seized the fallen god’s divinity before she could. She let him have it. Paying him no further attention, Lily drove Kujaku Myōō back with a single slash before turning toward the millions of demon gods below.

“I never intended to slaughter those of you who are too weak to resist me. But you insisted on attacking me like swarming insects! You brought this upon yourselves!”

Lily swept out a blade of light as thin as a thread. The slash stretched across a thousand miles of battlefield. Wherever it passed, everything in its path was severed. Countless demon gods were cut down, while even more were left grievously wounded.

Such immense sword waves consumed tremendous amounts of divine power. Lily knew she could never exterminate every demon god present, so she unleashed only several more sweeping slashes, killing over a thousand and wounding tens of thousands.

The slaughter terrified the army of a million demon gods. Chaos spread through their ranks as they retreated in panic, no longer daring to continue surrounding Lily.

“Kagami Lily!” Kunhiza, Kuralan-Chiyu, and the now mostly recovered Kuroyoku charged at Lily simultaneously from three different directions. The three greatest powers of the Abyss attacked together.

Lily evaded the attacks of all three Supreme Gods in succession. Just as she was about to counterattack Kunhiza… a crushing blow struck her squarely in the back.

Kujaku Myōō had appeared behind her, wielding the Divine Artifact Spiked Club, and smashed it into Lily’s waist. The blow was unimaginably heavy. An ordinary Supreme God would likely have been gravely wounded by such an attack. Even Lily was wracked with unbearable pain, feeling as though her waist had nearly been shattered.

Yet her eyes remained cold and unwavering. Enduring the agony, she counterattacked the very instant the pain struck.

The attack was so sudden that Kujaku Myōō had assumed Lily would at least lose consciousness for a brief moment. Who could have imagined that, even under such circumstances, she could counterattack without the slightest pause? What an incredible body… what an indomitable will.

Even Kujaku Myōō’s desperate retreat came too late. A deep slash ripped across his waist and abdomen, spilling out his internal organs.

As one of the strongest Supreme Gods, however, he immediately used divine power to force his organs back into place. While retreating at full speed, he simultaneously healed himself. Although dispelling the effects of the Lunar Force was extraordinarily difficult, a peak Supreme God could still accomplish it by paying a sufficient price.

At that moment, Lily’s thigh was seized by the enormous hand of the several-meter-tall Kuralan-Chiyu. At the same instant, Kuroyoku’s fist came hurtling toward Lily’s chest.

Lily answered with a downward slash. Prepared for it, Kuroyoku withdrew his punch and twisted aside to evade the blade. But Kuralan-Chiyu’s hand, still gripping Lily’s thigh, had nowhere to escape. His wrist, as thick as a pillar, was severed cleanly.

Yet at the very same moment, Kuroyoku’s heavy punch slammed squarely into Lily’s chest. The tremendous impact drove the breath from her lungs, nearly knocking her unconscious. A coordinated assault by Supreme Gods was truly terrifying.

Seizing the opportunity, Kuroyoku followed up with a vicious axe kick. Still half-dazed from the blow, Lily raised one of her long, slender legs and met his kick head-on. In a contest of raw strength, Lily was surprisingly not at much of a disadvantage. She was only forced back a short distance by the impact.

Streams of venom suddenly sprayed from the serpent hair, striking with sinister precision toward Lily’s buttocks and thighs while she was off balance. If those areas were poisoned, the side effects upon her Charm Heavenly Path would undoubtedly be the most severe.

**Splash!**

Nanako arrived just in time, spinning the Sakura Parasol to intercept every drop of venom.

“You little brat! You dare throw your life away as well?!” Kunhiza swung his massive twin-headed greatsword toward Nanako. She immediately opened the Sakura Parasol to defend herself.

“Die!” Kunhiza’s blade came crashing down. To his surprise, the parasol was sent spinning away by the impact… But standing beneath it was Lily. “What!?”

**Slash!**

Lily’s blade swept diagonally upward, slicing away half of Kunhiza’s shoulder.
