「I don’t know; it felt like I was just passing time.」

At the end of the first day, Mia made us take a bath in order to wash off the sweat from the marathon we called Combat Training. In other words, Mia is bathing us, and her touch was gentle as if she were handling a baby.
It’s a bit ticklish being on the receiving end, and as Mia said, 「Your skin is beautiful as always, Lady Cielmer,」 I couldn’t help but feel proud.

Our barrier is disabled whenever Mia is bathing us, so considering that it is a rare chance of human contact for us, I see it a special time.

Within the academy, it’ll probably be Palra. And the princess. In her case, if she ever dies, it’ll also be rather troubling for us.

Finished with washing Ciel, Mia proceeded to leave the bathroom.
And after seeing her off, Ciel leisurely stepped into the bathtub.

The first subject on the second day is Magic Circle Studies. We chose this course thinking it was a basic-level one, but it turns out it’s generally considered to be of a higher tier.
I don’t really mind since we meet the requirements anyway, but that explains why all our classmates here are unfamiliar faces.
There are students of much higher years present, and they’re intimidatingly large. Compared to the first years, at least. When it comes to sheer intimidation, the cyclops is on a whole other level.

Since there are a few first years like the princess, I assumed that we wouldn’t stand out, but that wasn’t the case at all; there were a number of people who were staring our way.
The one staring the most, however, was not a male student, but the female student sitting right next to me—due to the class scheduling, Ciel generally attends afternoon classes.
I know I’m not the one to say this, but she is quite a petite girl, and she has been twitchy since entering the classroom.

From her height, she must be a first-year student, but I don’t believe I’ve seen her in our other classes.

Her black hair is in a bob cut, and she seems to be constantly afraid of her surroundings, like the type that tends to be socially withdrawn.
As for why she sat next to me, it’s likely similar to Palra’s reason. There’s a small girl, so let’s sit next to her in the meantime or so. Then, after stealing a glance our way, her eyes went wide open, and she’s been staring at us ever since.

And that ends this update! Second day at school, and it seems like we have another new face to remember! Seems like our girls really can’t help but attract the shy types for some reason (height, the reason is height).

Princess Leshy seems to be in the same class as well, so let’s see if it’s truly a coincidence or not, lol. The short conversation with Mia at the beginning was also quite nice, Ciel is really opening up to her.
