And you don’t even have to go far back for this problem to start occurring either…
GATE, one of my favourite anime, has been removed from Crunchyroll for a long time since their license expired, and the dvds/bluray were a limited run and went out of sale years before that.
In other words, the only way to watch this anime at all right now is to pirate it, and it’s not even ten years old!
This is what happens when one company has the entire licensing market…
