Then, with a composed expression on her face, she turned towards Revan, who was clearly taken aback by the news of the teleportation equipment’s destruction. Extending her elegant hand towards him.

“Please lend me your hand, Lord Revan. This is yet another duty that we, who stand above the masses, must undertake. We are already aboard the boat of destiny, and there is no turning back. Wouldn’t you like to join me in striving for a better world together?”

Gazing at her small, dainty hand, Revan hesitated for a moment, considering Princess Oliana’s offer. However, before he could make a decision, his attention was abruptly drawn to the sound of Shin growling from under the bed. The atmosphere in the room shifted, and in a sudden burst of noise, the double doors swung open, revealing Revan’s little sister standing in the corridor.

“Found you! I knew you were with a woman, Brother Revan!” she exclaimed, bursting into the room with her familiar catchphrase.

Revan’s sister casually inserted herself between him and Oliana, embracing him tightly. “I was so worried about you, brother. But don’t worry, you’re safe now.”

Revan was taken aback by his sister’s unexpected arrival. “What the hell are you doing here?” he blurted out, his shock evident in his voice. He had only been joking about sensing their presence, but now his sister had appeared out of nowhere, defying all logic and expectations.

“Why, of course, I flew here because I was worried about you!” Asmina declared with a mischievous grin.

“That doesn’t answer my question. Ah, whatever,” Revan sighed, deciding not to press further.

Just then, there was a modest knock on the door, and another unexpected visitor and acquaintance entered the room. It was none other than the rose princess.

“…Well, sorry for barging in uninvited. She ran off like a cannonball before I could stop her,” Hiyuki explained, referring to Asmina.

“And I must say, that girl has an uncanny sense of smell. She can find her target instantly,” Following behind Hiyuki, the assassin from that unforgettable night walked into the room with a composed expression.

“?!?!” Revan was about to leap off the bed in surprise, but Asmina forcefully held him down, saying, “It’s not good for you to exert yourself, brother.”

He would have easily shaken her off if it were any other time, but his body was still in the process of healing, making it difficult for him to break free from Asmina’s hold.

“Hmm? You don’t seem to be doing well,” Hiyuki remarked, noticing his condition.

“It’s likely the lingering effects of the poison. Nevertheless, he’s quite resilient to have recovered this much,” Kagerou added, acknowledging Revan’s strength.

Hiyuki nodded in understanding and extended her hand towards Revan, casting a series of spells that emitted a radiant, rainbow-like glow.

“‹Divine Heal›, ‹Cure Poison›, ‹Holy Breath›,” she chanted.

Revitalizing energy surged through Revan’s body as Hiyuki’s magic dispelled the numbness he had been feeling, restoring his strength to its peak instantly.

He let out a relieved sigh, signaling to Asmina that he was completely fine now. With newfound vigor, he swiftly rose from the bed and knelt before Hiyuki.

“I am deeply grateful for the care and healing you have bestowed upon me, Your Highness. While I have much information to report, may I first inquire about the presence of the man behind you in this place?”

An expression of complexity crossed Hiyuki’s face as she glanced behind her.

“Well, Kagerou is an acquaintance. I hired him when I was seeking a way to infiltrate the Imperial Palace, and he claimed to know the way.”

“Young Lady is correct, lad. That day was also my assignment. This one here didn’t harbor any malicious intentions, so there’s no need to hold a grudge against me.”

Revan seethed with a surge of murderous intent upon hearing the shameless reply from Kagerou, who showed no signs of remorse. However, he managed to restrain himself.

“That said, he’s the underling of the Prime Minister and my enemy who killed my brethren. I cannot simply overlook his presence…”

Hiyuki tapped her delicate chin with a thoughtful expression, taking in Revan’s heartfelt plea. Then, she turned back to face Kagerou.

“Kagerou.”
“What is it, My lady?”

In a flash, she struck the man’s stomach with lightning speed, causing him to collapse to the floor, seemingly paralyzed.

“You have served your purpose by bringing us here. Allow me to grant you a peaceful sleep while your guard is down.”
“…My lady, this line is usually spoken by villains, you know…”

Hiyuki simply shrugged her shoulders in response to Kagerou’s groan, as his consciousness faded away.

“Too bad for you, never once did I consider myself a good person.”

Her gaze shifted back to Revan, her eyes filled with curiosity.

“So, what will you do? Will you kill him?”

She pointed at the unconscious man lying on the floor. But despite being a warrior, Revan hesitated to take the life of an defenseless opponent.

“……”

Caught in a mental struggle, Revan was undecided. Just then, Princess Oliana spoke up.

“Please wait.”
“Princess, it’s dangerous! Please return!”

Ignoring the maid’s plea, Princess Oliana confidently approached them, elegantly pinching the fabric of her white skirt and raising it in a gesture of courtesy.

“You must be Her Highness Hiyuki of the Imperial Crimson. I am Oliana Eineas Mirn Graviol, princess of the Graviol Empire. I wish to make your acquaintance.”

Hiyuki reciprocates the gesture by gracefully pinching her black skirt, though a hint of displeasure flickered across her face.

“I am Hiyuki of the Imperial Crimson. We have intruded uninvited today in search of a missing person.”

It was a momentous occasion, a meeting between the ‘Rose’ Princess and the ‘May Bell’ Imperial Princess—a scene that would be immortalized in the annals of history.

“Brother Revan, you seem awfully close to that person. You weren’t cheating, were you…?”

“Whether I was cheating or not, it shouldn’t matter in our sibling relationship…”

“What! Is that all you have to say to me, who came here worried about you!?”

“I appreciate your concern, but please consider the time and place!”

While this historical encounter unfolded, Revan and Asmina continued their lovers’ quarrel. Meanwhile, Shin, the young lion cub, curled around Oliana’s feet, and Hiyuki, being true to herself, stood with one foot on the unconscious Kagerou, preventing him from escaping.

This was the actual meeting scene between two dazzling flowers, an encounter that happened by chance, and one that future historians would immortalize through their dramatic retellings.
