Project GB is an official initiative by Re:Library.

Dragons are touted for their great strength, but it’s true that we only know Tur. Wyverns are considered dragonkin, but they are also said to be far weaker than true dragons. Dragons are considered S-rank, so I think they should be around the strength of strata 80-90 monsters.
But if beings of that level are roaming on the surface, wouldn’t every country be in constant high alert?

「There are, but the remaining dragons don’t leave their territory. The ones that used to wander were hunted down long ago, you see. Every so often, stray dragons will appear out of nowhere… but I’ve only seen two dragons in my lifetime.」
「Then it’s probably hard to find them normally.」
「That reminds me, another dragon has been defeated recently, reducing their numbers further.」
「Oh, defeated, huh?」
「Though I said recently, it was around several odd decades ago deep in the southern mountains.」
「In other words, there’s a person who can defeat a dragon in the south?」
「I suppose that would be the case. They’re probably still alive, I think?」

If they’re alive, that likely means that the experience of defeating the dragon must have increased their magic power capacity. In that case, I’d rather not deal with someone like that. We’ll probably go to the south eventually, so I’ll keep that in mind.

「That aside, could we go back to the topic of dolls?」
「I thought I’d already explained enough about Puppet Sorcery, but is there anything else you want to know?」
「It’s just a hunch, but Iena and the others are different from the dolls for Puppet Sorcery, aren’t they?」
「They certainly are. Iena and Semiette are made with Puppet Magic.」
「In that case, I’d like one of those.」

Since it’s meant to be my body, then a doll similar to the one used for Iena certainly would be better.
I don’t really know how to move the standard sorceric dolls. Iena appears to be moving through a portion of Munyechka’s soul, so a doll like that might be more convenient for me to use.

「While I’m probably the only one who can make dolls like them, I can’t really just give one away that easily.」
「Well, fair enough. Do you have some sort of bargaining point?」
「I’m glad you’re quick on the uptake. Could you acquire several dolls’ worth of materials for me? I want to make new ones too, but material gathering is honestly such a chore. Also, I want to know the sacrifice you paid for your magic.」
『What do you think?』
『It would depend on the materials themselves, but for the sacrifice, I don’t really mind telling her.』

This is honestly something that probably should be kept secret, but if it’s to achieve Ciel’s wishes, then it’s negotiable. Since I’m always with Ciel, the sacrifice’s demerit doesn’t really matter anyway. In that sense, Munyechka’s demerit shouldn’t really affect her in combat either.
Anyhow, it’s not a big problem. Just as Munyechka must have something else in her sleeve, I do as well.

「That won’t be a problem. What materials do you need?」
「I’ll talk about it eventually. We’ll start the actual gathering after we finish the entire Puppet Sorcery course content.」
「Oh, that’s a shame.」
「This is a proper class, after all. If we don’t go through the proper procedures, Katrina is going to get mad at Semiette.」

Katrina… Ah, the headmistress. Katrina Lorbeim. From the rumors we’ve heard from Princess Leshimiiya, she is someone with the potential to be an S-rank hunter.
One of the prime suspects for the taboo attempt. Speaking of suspects, Munyechka would be one of them, so I suppose we should check just to be sure.

『Ciel, could we switch for a moment?』
『Sure, of course.』

With this quick exchange, Ciel and I switched. As we did, Munyechka seemed to have noticed it, as she had a meaningful look on her face.

「Hello. It appears that you can tell when we switch places.」
「Right, hello, Ainsel. Just vaguely, though. I’m glad to hear that my hunch was right. So, what brought you out here?」
「There is one thing I really want to ask about, Ms. Munyechka.」
「One thing, eh.」
「Ms. Munyechka, are you attempting to commit a taboo?」

I don’t think she is, which is why I asked directly, and she heartily laughed at me. Still, I know that she’s not being sarcastic, and her laugh was quite pretty, so I can’t really feel mad.
Besides, with her laughing this much, it should be safe to assume that she isn’t involved.

「Nope, absolutely not. I don’t want to get hit with a divine punishment and all that.」
「I suspected as much, which is why I asked the way I did, but do you perhaps know of someone who was hit with a divine punishment?」
「A long, long time ago. If I recall, the punishment back then was the confiscation of their Job.」
「That’s quite dreadful.」
「Oh, but you don’t sound too concerned.」

Munyechka responded with a slight surprise, but in my case, losing my Job won’t really be a problem. I can protect Ciel even without Song Princess; it’s mostly an added convenience.
Frankly, I’ve had more problems due to having Song Princess. Excluding the events at Rispelgia, we’ve only been in mortal danger during our first battle against an Artificial Divine Messenger, and now I have proper countermeasures.

「Well, there were cases where people were instantly killed, or even had their very souls erased, among various other methods, so I swore to myself that I would never commit a taboo.」
「I’d rather not get killed myself, so I’ll make sure to be careful as well.」

If there are various forms of divine punishment, then maybe we can ask the Creator God about it when we have the chance.
But in that case, I guess we’ll have to go to a temple. A temple, huh… We’ll think of how to go about this later.
