“Creak… Creak… Creak…”

The sound of leather shoes stepping on the wooden floor finally woke up the girl in bed.

“Charlie? Sounds familiar…” Samuel rubbed his chin, showing neither questioning nor concern about the situation described by the old man.

Indeed, the Supernatural Abilities Division of Tianzhou Security Bureau was one of the stronger local ability forces, but so what? The few sent by his uncle were no ordinary individuals either.

“As for Uncle…” Samuel looked up at the old man in front of him, Liam, a junior member of the Longmen Gang, and also a veteran steward on the headquarters’ side. He must have been sent with some instructions.
