“Murder!” The cleric screamed hysterically upon seeing the Bishop sent flying by Yaeger’s forceful punch.

“So annoying!” In response to the cleric’s outburst, Yaeger manifested a tentacle that swiftly dealt with them, sending them crashing against the wall and sliding down to unconsciousness.

“Only I can scam people… No, nobody ever gets to scam me. Absolutely no one!” Yaeger declared, her focus solely on Bishop Eir, who lay injured on the ground. His nose was crushed, and blood covered half of his face.

“Do you really think I can’t identify what I have?” Yaeger slowly approached Bishop Eir, her voice laden with killing intent. She was aware that even without life energy on the fragment, she could still verify its authenticity by checking the item description. The fragment she currently held in her hand was evidently not the same sacred item tainted by dark energy she initially had.

As Yaeger realized Bishop Eir had attempted to switch her item, her anger manifested in dozens of tentacles that furiously whipped the Bishop still lying on the ground. The cathedral was filled with his agonized screams.

“Stop!” The moment Bishop Eir seemed on the brink of being whipped to death, a loud voice resounded from a distance. Rushing footsteps followed immediately, signaling the arrival of someone else.

Yaeger ceased her attack and focused ahead, only to see a middle-aged man in luxurious robes and a Bishop’s hat, levitating and approaching her with a face full of anger. The man stared directly at her, quickly closing the distance with a burst of speed, a powerful shockwave trailing behind him. Yaeger casually flicked her arm, effortlessly dissipating the shockwave, and they faced each other, eye to eye.

“Why did you assault a Bishop of our church for no reason?” the middle-aged man asked, his tone slightly subdued due to the sharp killing intent he sensed from Yaeger.

“No reason?” Yaeger almost laughed in response, recognizing his immediate accusation as far from kind-hearted.

“I only saw you beating our Bishop. No matter for what reason, you shouldn’t assault him!” he stated sternly, pointing at Yaeger.

Meanwhile, a group of Holy Knights and several Priests arrived, flanking her from two directions, weapons in hand. Their solemn expressions and the killing intent in their eyes made it clear they recognized her as the Black-hearted Princess. They were ready to kill any troublemaker in their sacred place without mercy.

“Take her down!” the middle-aged man commanded.

“I’m afraid that you don’t know what it means to die,” Yaeger retorted, initially having hoped for a peaceful resolution. However, the immediate accusations and the encircling Holy Knights and Priests prompted her to demonstrate her power.

Nine fox tails appeared, whirling wildly in response to the threat. Yaeger was ready to unleash her full strength, given the disrespect shown to her.

“Gaaaah!” As the Knights and Priests closed in, they were swiftly swept away by her tails, the sound of bones cracking and screams filling the air. The middle-aged man, witnessing his elite forces being effortlessly defeated, was struck with fear, realizing he had underestimated Yaeger’s strength.

The middle-aged man, realizing he had offended Yaeger, feared the consequences. He instantly regretted his decision. If he had known something like this would happen, he wouldn’t have sent the Templar Knights away. With them around, he believed the Black-hearted Princess wouldn’t have had the upper hand. Despite this, he didn’t think he had made any mistakes and wasn’t afraid of Yaeger.

“Very good. Our church has been established for thousands of years, but you’re the first person to cause trouble in this place!” he declared, waving his magic staff. “I’ll let you taste the wrath of the divine!” As he spoke, sacred golden energy surged from his body, and his aura rose dramatically, with his Level jumping from 40 to 55.

Yaeger, witnessing this shocking increase in Level, felt a surge of seriousness and a tinge of nervousness. ‘A Level fifty-five opponent. That’s a little interesting,’ she thought. A Level 55 Warrior or Holy Knight would have annoyed her, but he was just a Level 55 Priest.

“I have decided. I’ll just burn this place to the ground today,” Yaeger stated grimly.

“Arrogant!” The middle-aged man pointed his staff at her. “Today, I’ll exterminate a pest on behalf of the Empire!”

“Come if you dare,” Yaeger challenged, her fists clenched tightly as killing intent emanated from her eyes and her aura surged.

As Yaeger and the middle-aged man’s auras collided, the force of their power resonated through the cathedral, creating a thunderous impact. This surge of energy flung those already toppled to the ground, further intensifying the chaos with a chorus of screams echoing in the background.

“Die!” The middle-aged man shouted furiously. Golden light erupted from his staff, signaling the manifestation of a devastating bolt of light.

Yaeger recognized that he was different from a typical Priest – he was a combat Priest. Yet, she still found him insufficient.

“Heh,” she smirked grimly and stepped forward, her aura intensifying as she prepared for a powerful attack. Their energies clashed fiercely, enveloping the area in a terrifying aura.

Just as the confrontation was reaching its peak, a beautiful voice called out, “Everyone, stop!” A petite, blonde-haired girl in a white dress appeared, her holy power pushing them back several meters.

“This sacred cathedral isn’t the place for you to fight. All of you, stop!” Her calming voice had an immediate effect on the enraged combatants.

“Your Highness, Saintess!” The middle-aged man exclaimed in surprise, recognizing the girl as Irene, the Saintess.

Yaeger regained her balance and looked at Irene. ‘Irene, the Saintess,’ she thought, familiar with her.

“What’s going on here?” Irene asked, first looking at the middle-aged man, then turning to Yaeger. Despite her small stature of about 142 centimeters, Irene’s strength was evident from her ability to separate the fighters.

‘Level Ninety. I obviously can’t win. Fortunately, Saintess Irene is a reasonable girl. It should be fine once I explain the situation to her,’ Yaeger thought, preparing to speak. However, the middle-aged man spoke first.

“Your Highness, the Saintess. This damned Black-hearted Princess wants to burn our cathedral! Blasphemy against the great Goddess of Light is unforgivable and a capital sin!” he accused.

Irene blinked, then looked at Yaeger and said sternly, “A Blasphemer must be killed.”
