YoyoPink and DumbCitrus both expressed their agreement as well. Zane naturally understood what they were thinking. This was the first time he had ever encountered a SS-Rank quest too.

“Alright then. Starry and I will head off first.”
“Go on, go on. Bring back a few more hidden class certificates while you’re at it.” Shiu waved his hand dismissively.
“You think those grow on cabbages or something?!”
“How many hidden classes do you have already? Have you lost count?” Shiu shot him a middle finger.
“…”

After returning to Windblossom’s side, Zane waved a hand in front of her face.

No response. Her eyes were vacant, as though she had suffered some devastating blow.

“Windblossom? Windblossom?”

“Windy!” Zane leaned closer and shouted.

Windblossom jumped in fright. “Who?! Who was that?!”

“So that’s the title that actually gets a reaction from you.” Zane stroked his chin thoughtfully.

“Anyone would get scared if you suddenly shouted right next to their ear!!”

“Don’t worry about the details. We’re ready now.”

“…Starry, is this Emberveil really that little girl?” Windblossom gritted her teeth, clearly unable to accept the truth.

“In a game? Nothing’s strange. It’s just an ordinary transformation skill.”

Ordinary… She no longer even knew where to begin criticizing that statement.

“Anyway, you’ll get to see it for yourself later. There are too many people here, so it’s inconvenient. Besides, didn’t you say the quest was starting tonight? No time to waste. Let’s begin right away.”

“…Got it. Follow me.”

Crushing a Return Scroll, the three of them appeared inside Wynwater City.

As a side note, Zane had left Morthar outside the Frostcrystal Mine in a wide, deserted area. The creature could simply burrow underground and bury itself, making it nearly impossible for anyone to discover. He could summon it again whenever he needed it later.

Not having a Pet Space was seriously inconvenient.

“My mentor told me that once I was ready, I should head to the Class Guidance Hall. She’ll be waiting there.”

The Guidance Hall? Wasn’t that Sheen’s workplace?

‘Come to think of it, during the city defense battle, I had no idea where she’d gone off to slack around. Wynwater City was nearly destroyed because of it. I definitely need to ask her what she was thinking.’

As they walked through the streets—

“By the way, Windblossom, why did you decide to come to us?” Zane asked curiously.

Back in Glazed Lycoris Radiata, she had placed third in the national solo tournament. Anyone capable of achieving such a result had to be a veteran MMORPG player. There was no way she didn’t have her own circle of companions.

“It’s nothing. I just felt you guys were the most suitable.”
“Is that so…” There wasn’t much he could do if she didn’t want to talk about it.

The Class Guidance Hall was located very close to the teleportation plaza. They arrived in less than two minutes.

Although it was nighttime, the place was every bit as crowded as the potion shop. After all, everyone in Wynwater City knew that the NPC working here was an exceptionally beautiful woman. Though the hall had mysteriously closed for a short period before, it had reopened today.

“Mentor, don’t you think I was born with extraordinary talent and the bearing of an emperor? What kind of class would truly suit someone like me?” A player who had finally reached the front of the line wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

“…” Without changing her expression, Sheen calmly pulled a book from the cabinet behind her. “Everything you want to know is in here.”

**Smack!**

The player awkwardly accepted the book and shuffled away.

When Zane glanced at the title, it looked surprisingly familiar. Complete Class Encyclopedia. ‘Wew, isn’t that the very same book I was reading back then?’

“U-Um, Mentor Sheen, I’d like to know more about the Priest class…” the next girl asked softly, clearly afraid of upsetting her.

Sheen smiled warmly. “Of course. Come with me.” She then stood up and led the girl toward one of the training rooms.

‘Oi, oi, isn’t that treatment gap way too obvious?!’

Not long afterward, the two of them emerged from the room again.

“Not bad. You actually managed to identify the optimal moment to cast a healing spell…” Sheen nodded approvingly. “How about this? Go to the alchemy atelier and find Sylvia. Tell her you want to change your class to Priest. She’ll teach you what to do next.”

“Okay! Thank you, Mentor Sheen!”

“You’re welcome.” Watching the girl walk away, Sheen called out, “Next!”

‘…If I remember correctly, isn’t Sylvia’s primary profession an Alchemist? And I’d never heard that she’s a Priest mentor either! That works too?’

The players behind them immediately broke into animated discussion.

Unlike the mentor NPCs in other cities, Sheen’s way of dealing with people was uniquely her own. Anyone she found annoying got handed a book and dismissed on the spot. Those with a proper attitude who genuinely wanted to learn about classes were treated politely. As for the ones she considered talented, she would occasionally make unusual recommendations.

There were still plenty of people in line behind them. At this rate, who knew when it would finally be their turn?

“Windblossom, there are way too many people here,” Zane said with a frown.

“It’s fine. Leave it to me.” Windblossom walked directly toward an empty seat and sat down. Then her fingers moved lightly through the air, as though searching for something invisible.

A moment later, a roasted chicken drumstick with a rich golden sheen materialized out of thin air. Its aroma immediately filled the room, so enticing that it made people’s mouths water. The fragrance was so realistic that it even stirred the sensation of hunger in their real bodies.

Windblossom didn’t take a bite. Instead, she lightly pinched the end of the drumstick between two fingers and gently waved it beneath her nose. The rich scent spread outward, causing even Zane to unconsciously swallow.

Sheen glanced over. Her eyes suddenly widened as though she instantly realized what was about to happen!

The surrounding players were baffled. Eating inside the Class Guidance Hall? It wasn’t as though nobody had tried before. The problem was that most people were thrown out by Sheen before they could even take the first bite.

Yet, to everyone’s surprise, the mentor showed no intention of stopping her.

Rapid footsteps suddenly echoed from the second floor. The moment she heard them, Windblossom smiled knowingly and put the drumstick away.

“No!!!” A heart-wrenching scream erupted from the staircase. A flash of silver-white hair streaked past. The person descending moved so quickly that before anyone could react, he was already standing in front of Windblossom.

“My dear disciple, don’t put it away so quickly! Just look at your master here… I’ve been working tirelessly for Wynwater City day and night. I haven’t even had time to eat today! Your master understands your filial devotion. There’s no need to hide it!” As he spoke, he naturally extended a hand.

Zane was dumbfounded. What kind of weirdo was this guy?

Inspect Attribute!

Twilight Ranger: Famichi
Rank Mystic
Level 52
Description Famichi was once an unremarkable Priest. Following a great war, he mysteriously disappeared for five years. When he finally returned, he possessed entirely new abilities and quickly earned widespread recognition throughout the land.

A Mystic-rank NPC!? Sheen herself was a Level 56 Mystic-rank powerhouse, while this guy was only four levels behind her.

“Hold it! If you want to eat, take care of the business first!”
“T-This… You don’t think your master would trick you, do you?”
“Hmph… And who was it that kept secretly stealing…”
“I get it! Stop talking already!” Famichi hurriedly interrupted.

The adventurers from another world could hear whatever they wanted, but Sheen was still standing right there. If she found out, things would become very troublesome!

“That’s more like it…” Windblossom nodded in satisfaction before turning toward Starry. “It’s settled. Come over.”

“…” This Twilight Ranger seriously had no sense of dignity whatsoever!
